The method includes steps of: the driving device moving the grabbing device, in the inner space, horizontally from an original location to an upper location, and then releasing the string to lower the claw from the upper location to a lower location; when the claw reaches the lower location, the driving device outputting a first voltage to the grabbing device to perform a grabbing action; after performing the grabbing action, the driving device outputting a second voltage to the grabbing device for reducing grip strength of the claw for a predetermined time period; and the driving device outputting a third voltage to the grabbing device for increasing grip strength of the claw after outputting the second voltage.

The base includes an electrically conductive plate bracket, two electrically conductive plates, and a flexible cable having at least two inner wires wound on the reel. The inner wires of the flexible cable are connected to the electrically conductive rings, respectively. The flexible cable is connected to the claw. The claw includes a drive member. The drive member includes an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder has an accommodation groove therein. An electromagnetic coil is provided in the accommodation groove. The inner wires of the flexible cable are electrically connected to the electromagnetic coil.

A prize mixer is provided for a prize capture and dispensing device. The prize mixer is configured to change the location and/or orientation of prizes within a prize area of the device, preferably by contacting one or more of the prizes. The prize mixer may be located at or near a bottom of the prize area and be configured to move relative to the prizes, such as in a linear or rotating motion. The prize mixer may comprise a plurality of rotatable arms which define ramped surfaces, the arms rotated by a drive shaft. The prize mixer may be activated automatically or by a player of the device, such as for payment, as a bonus, or upon a triggering event.
