A raw material solution concentration system that has: a first unit for obtaining a concentrated raw material solution and a diluted induction solution by bringing a raw material solution containing a solvent and a solute into contact with an induction solution containing an induction solute through a forward osmosis membrane and transferring the solvent in the raw material solution into the induction solution and the induction solute in the induction solution into the raw material solution; and a second unit for performing a freeze-dry treatment on the concentrated raw material solution and obtaining a further-concentrated product.

The present invention relates to a fibre for purification of liquids comprising a matrix of polymer with organosilane impregnated therein and a method for preparing the same. The fibre of the present invention is capable of providing at least 2 log reduction of viruses, bacteria and cysts and flux of 10 to 1000 litre per square meter per hour at 2 psig.

Charged nanofibers

Described herein are nanofibers and methods for making nanofibers that include any one or more of (a) a non-homogeneous charge density; (b) a plurality of regions of high charge density; and/or (c) charged nanoparticles or chargeable nanoparticles. In one aspect, the present invention fulfills a need for filtration media that are capable of both high performance (e.g., removal of particle sizes between 0.1 and 0.5 μm) with a low pressure drop, however the invention is not limited in this regard.

The disclosure discloses an anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The air filter membrane comprises a nano fiber membrane made of nano fibers and having a two-dimensional or three-dimensional network structure. The nano fiber membrane can be a high-molecular polymer nano fiber membrane prepared by utilizing an electrostatic spinning process, and can also be doped with an organic or inorganic additive capable of adsorbing and absorbing harmful gases, such as VOCs, NO.sub.x, SO.sub.x and NH.sub.3, in the air and/or a photocatalyst capable of degrading these harmful gases in a photocatalysis manner, or the like. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane has a wide application prospect in the field of air purification, for example, can be applied to air purification devices, such as screen windows, gauze masks and filter screens.

Carbon capture membrane

There is provided a carbon capture mixed matrix membrane comprising: a polymeric support layer; and a carbon dioxide capture layer in contact with the polymeric support layer, the carbon dioxide capture layer comprising solid porous material with at least one carbon dioxide adsorption site, wherein the polymeric support layer comprises spatially ordered uniform sized pores. The polymeric support layer may be patterned by micro-molding, nanoimprinting, mold-based lithography or other suitable lithographic process. Functional fibrous membrane, method for manufacturing the same, filter comprising the same

A novel fibrous membrane comprises at least one substrate layer comprising at least 80% by weight of microfibers that carry positively charged and/or negatively charged functional groups, and at least one layer of filtration material attached to the substrate layer, wherein the layer of filtration material comprises at least 80% by weight of nanofibers that carry negatively charged and/or positively charged functional groups. The fibrous membrane is able to remove or reduce the concentration of bacteria, viruses and heavy metals while maintaining relatively high water flow. A filter comprising the fibrous membrane and a method for manufacturing the fibrous membrane are also provided.
