A filter device with a filter housing (2, 6), in which a replaceable filter element (4) is accommodated and which has a cover part (2), wherein the element material (30) is delimited at the end by at least one end cap (32), is characterized in that at least this one end cap (32) of the filter element (4) is placed on a fluid channel (58) and in that a device (84) for transverse force support for the filter element (4) is provided between this one end cap (32) and the fluid channel (58), wherein said device (84) for transverse force support supports the filter element (4) in relation to the fluid channel (58) engaging in the interior of the filter element (4) at least partially at the end.

A filter device having a filter housing (14), consisting of a housing pot (12), which accommodates a replaceable filter element (16) and is closed by a removable lid part (32), wherein the element material (20) of the filter element (16) separates an unfiltrate chamber (22) from a filtrate chamber (18, 43), and having a measurement sensing device (108) for sensing pressure values from at least one of the chambers (18, 22, 43) is disclosed, which is characterized in that the measurement sensing device (108) is disposed on a lid inner side (45) of the lid part (32) and at least partially guided therein, projects into the filter housing (14) and in that at least parts of a measurement value evaluator (78) connected to the measurement sensing device (108) are disposed on the opposite lid outer side (42) facing the environment.

The disclosed filter element is configured for use within a housing of a filter assembly. The filter element includes an obround ring of filter media extending between an upper and lower endcaps and defines a dirty wet fuel region. The upper endcap of the filter element defines an inlet for receiving the dirty wet fuel, which flows into the dirty wet fuel region and radially outward through the filter media. The upper endcap may include an insert to define a flow chamber to distribute fuel into the dirty wet fuel region. A clean wet fuel region is defined outside the filter element and within the housing. After flowing through the inlet and the filter media clean wet fuel fills the clean wet fuel region. A water separator is disposed external to the filter media and defines a clean dry fuel region in communication with an outlet defined by the upper endcap.

The present invention relates to a suction filter unit (1) for filtering liquids. The filter unit (1) comprises: a housing element (3) with an open first side and an open opposing, second side, the housing element (3) comprising a first set of filter element supporting elements (23); a first cover (5) sealingly connected to the first side of the housing element (3); a second, different cover (7) sealingly connected to the second side of the housing element (3), the second cover (7) comprising a second set of filter element supporting elements (25); a filter unit inlet (9); a filter unit outlet; a first filter element (13) for providing a fine filtering property of the liquid; and a second filter element (21) arranged between the first filter element (13) and the inlet (9) for providing a coarse filtering property of the liquid. The second filter element (21) is clamped between the second cover and the housing element (3) by the first and second set of filter element supporting elements (23, 25).

A washing machine is includes a tub, a spin basket rotatably disposed inside the tub, a pulsator disposed at a lower portion of the spin basket and configured to generate a flow of washing water, and a filter device including a body including a first side facing away from an inner wall and a second side coupled to the inner wall of the spin basket, that forms a path therein so that the washing water of the flow is introduced into the body, and to which a filter is installable so that when the filter is installed, the washing water introduced into the body is filtered by the filter, a cover covering the first side of the body and forming a portion of an inner circumferential surface of the spin basket, and a sealing member sealing a space between the body and the cover.

A method of fabricating a composite material part includes placing a fiber texture in a mold including in its bottom portion a porous material part on which a first face of the texture rests, injecting a liquid under pressure into the fiber texture, the liquid containing a powder of refractory ceramic particles, and draining through the porous material part the liquid that has passed through the fiber texture, while retaining the powder of refractory ceramic particles inside said texture by the porous material part. A perforated rigid element is interposed between the bottom of the mold and the porous material part.

Certain embodiments include a screen assembly of a vessel, where the screen assembly includes a plurality of fixed elements and a retainer, and the retainer includes a ring, a plurality of wedges disposed about the ring, and a plurality of keyholes at spaced locations about the ring. Each keyhole includes a bore and a slot extending from the bore into an adjacent wedge of the plurality of wedges, the slots have a width less than the bores, and the retainer may receive the fixed elements through the bores and may be rotated in a relation with the plurality of fixed elements to bring the plurality of fixed elements into simultaneous engagement with the wedges.

A floatable filter has an outer member that has a top section and bottom section that are hollow. The top section has an inner edge and an outer edge with the outer edge having a diameter that is adapted to slide up and down an inner diameter of a storage container. Connected to the inner edge of the outer member is an internal grid. The internal grid includes members that crisscross to provide spaced openings. A method of cleaning a regenerative filter having a filter housing having inlet and outlet zones, a fluid path provided between the inlet and outlet zones, and a plurality of filter elements each having an outer surface filter media applied thereto and functioning to filter particulate or contaminants from the fluid path, the method comprising draining all fluids from the filter housing, refilling the filter housing with fluid to an optimum level, and initiating a cleaning sequence of the filter housing with the fluid at the optimum level. The cleaning sequence can comprise agitating the tube sheet, initiating a pump to effectively air scour for a first predetermined amount of time, dwelling for a second predetermined amount of time, and repeating the agitating, initiating, and dwelling until a third predetermined amount of time is complete.
