Rapid target selection with priority zones

In various examples, when a user presses a button to interact with an object while playing a mobile video game, a prioritization zone around a targeting reticle can be defined. If the user positions the prioritization zone on a group of objects, a set of prioritization rules are applied to identify high importance objects (e.g., game Champions) in the prioritization zone. Based on the prioritization rules, the system can select the identified high importance object found inside the prioritization zone that is closest to the targeting reticle. In some embodiments, the prioritization zone is activated only for a defined period of time after the user presses the attack button. If the user releases the attack button during the defined period of time, the system can identify any of the objects in the prioritization zone and select a high importance object to interact with (e.g., launch an attack).

A game processing element screens, according to a determination condition of a particular object, at least one shot object satisfying the determination condition on an immediate game screen, and generates by calculation an immediate total magnification, the odds multiple of the particular object comprising at least the immediate total magnification; when the particular object is hit by an attack bullet, the game processing element determines, according to a second probability, whether the particular object is shot down, the product of the second probability and the odds multiple of the hit particular object being equal to the return to player (RTP). On this basis, the second probability is in negative correlation with the odds multiple of the particular object. Therefore, when the particular object is shot down, a player can obtain the sum of the odds multiple of the at least one shot object satisfying the determination condition; moreover, the at least one shot object satisfying the determination condition can be presented to be shot down on the game screen, and the game effect of the particular object is enabled to be truly presented.

An augmented reality home console is provided. Users can wear head-mounted displays with transparent screens and can control video game indicia that are perceived as being augmented over a user's environment by displaying video game indicia onto the transparent displays. As such, for example, two users can play an airplane dog fighting game where each user controls a plane in their living room. A device that can determine surfaces of objects (e.g., walls) can be utilized such that when the airplane is flown into a wall, the airplane explodes.

Method for controlling a display element by a games console

A method for controlling a position of a display element, comprising the steps: —measuring a position of a control lever, —projecting the position of the lever into a base plane, in order to determine a first set of coordinates, —determining a circle of positions, —determining a square circumscribing the circle of positions, —projecting, onto the circumscribed square, at least one coordinate of the first set of coordinates, —calculating a second set of coordinates in a Cartesian frame of reference, on the basis of the projection of the at least one coordinate of the first set of coordinates onto the circumscribed square.
