FILTER CARTRIDGE, FILTER ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS
A filter cartridge includes a tubular core movably oriented within an inner liner and having a projection having a flow passageway. The core is free-floating and movable between a first position, in which the core can move along a longitudinal axis of the core, and a sealed position, in which the core is sealed to an inner liner of the cartridge. In the sealed position, the flow passage through the projection can provide an air flow passage of air within an inner cavity to outside of the filter cartridge. Other arrangements include a filter cartridge with a free-floating core, which forms a fuel bypass between the core and a standpipe.
Filter cartridge and/or multiple-diameter multiple stage filter coalescer separator
A filter cartridge with easier extraction provided by a roll-out clearance region for a radial seal is provided. The filter cartridge may be a two stage filter with the seal being located between stages and usable in a filtration vessel having a central separation wall with one or more riser pipes. Also, a new vessel is disclosed with multiple diameters for first and second stages of the housing with a larger second stage diameter as compared to the first stage, which can reduce door size and/or cause fluid flow velocities to be slower at the second stage relative to the first stage.
WATER PURIFICATION MODULE
The water purification module includes a tubular receiving container with a base member and a removable lid with through bores, through which liquid to be purified may be supplied at the top into the interior of the receiving container. The water purification module also includes a tubular filter insert, which is removably suspended within the inner wall of the receiving container and is sealed with respect to the inner wall of the receiving container by an annular seal, and at least one extraction opening for purified liquid, which extends through the wall of the receiving container and/or the base member.
ENDPLATE WITH GUIDE FEATURE
Various example embodiments relate to a filtration system. The filtration system comprises a housing having a first housing end and a second housing end. The housing defines a central compartment therein. The housing comprises a key slot disposed on the first housing end and a housing key element protruding from the first housing end toward the second housing end. The filtration system further comprises a filter element positioned within the central compartment of the housing. The filter element has a first filter end and a second filter end. The filter element includes filter media and an endplate disposed on the first filter end. The endplate includes a central endplate opening, a key element configured for engagement with the key slot, and an installation guidance element formed along the central endplate opening. The installation guidance element is configured for engagement with the housing key element.
FILTER ELEMENT AND FILTER ARRANGEMENT HAVING FLUID FILTERS AND FILTER ELEMENT
A fluid filter arrangement with filter element and fluid filter, and to filter element therefor, having an element body containing a filter means and having at least one connecting socket which is open on the front face at one end of the element body for fastening of the filter element to a through-opening in a retaining device in the fluid filter, wherein the connecting socket includes a lateral surface which is partially provided with a flattened portion and a bearing surface for a sealing ring for cooperating with an internal wall of the through-opening wherein in order to simplify mounting by ensuring secure seal, a receiving groove is provided for the sealing ring on the connecting socket, the groove base of which as a radial bearing surface for the sealing ring is having a polygonal cross section with flat portions and curved transitions alternating with one another.

The installation guidance element is configured for engagement with the housing key element.
Filtering apparatus
The filtering apparatus includes: a casing having an inlet for a fluid from the outside and an outlet for the fluid having filtered therein; filter elements having opposite-end openings, provided in the casing, and each filtering the fluid by allowing the fluid to flow therethrough in inside-to-outside directions; backwashing pipes sequentially connected to the opposite-end openings at different timings between the opposite-end openings of each filter element so as to backwash the filter element by allowing the fluid to flow therethrough in outside-in directions; removers each axially moved in the corresponding filter element by the filtration or backwashing flow, while sliding in contact with the inner periphery of the filter element so as to remove trapped objects; and a backwashing fluid drain pipe coupled to the discharge side of the backwashing pipes and allowing the trapped objects removed by each remover to be discharged to the outside.
FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS AND METHOD OF CLEANING A WORKING MEDIUM IN A PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A filter assembly for a plate heat exchanger comprising inlet and outlet ports for passage of a working medium and a cooling or heating fluid, respectively, wherein the filter assembly is dimensioned to fit into the inlet or outlet ports, wherein the filter assembly comprises a proximal flange and a distal flange and at least one filter tube attached at respective ends to the proximal flange and the distal flange, respectively, wherein the at least one filter tube is adapted to receive an elongated filter element and further comprises a plurality of inlet holes arranged on a circumferential surface thereof, and wherein the distal flange comprises at least one through-going outlet aperture in fluid communication with the interior of the at least one filter tube.
TOP INLET VACUUM PULSE CLEANING DUST COLLECTOR
A dust collector (10) includes upper and lower apertured tube sheets (40, 42) within a collector housing, with a plurality of vertically extending filter tube assemblies secured to upper tube sheet apertures (44) and extending downwardly toward the lower tube sheet (42). Each filter tube assembly (54) has a filter tube (56) optionally equipped with a lower weight assembly (58) placing the tube (56) in tension. Particulate-laden gas passes through the upper ends of the filter tubes (56) and downwardly therethrough, causing particulates to collect on the inner surfaces of the tubes (56). Such collected particulates are periodically removed by generating vacuum shock pulses which act on the tubes (56) to dislodge the particulates.
FILTRATION APPARATUS
A filtration apparatus for treating a fluid comprises a vessel, a first partition plate dividing the vessel into first and second chambers and defining a through hole, and a filtration module located within the second chamber and including a body section defining an outer diameter which is greater than the diameter of the through hole in the first partition plate. The apparatus further comprises a reducing connector having a first end secured to the body section of the filtration module and a second end sealed relative to the through hole in the first partition plate to permit communication between the filtration module and the first chamber.
In a disclosed embodiment the apparatus includes a second partition plate such that the vessel is divided into first, second and third chambers, wherein the filtration module is mounted between the partition plates.
