Described are a washing machine and a control method for the washing machine. The washing machine includes: a water container; a filtering device, being configured to connect to the water container and to receive water in the water container for filtering, and has a sewage outlet for discharging sewage to the outside; a suction device, being configured to perform a suction action, drives the sewage in the filtering device to be discharged through the sewage outlet under the action of a pressure difference; and a recovery device, being configured to collect the sewage discharged by the filtering device. The recovery device can collect the sewage discharged by the filtering device, and a pressure difference can be formed inside and outside the sewage outlet of the filtering device through the suction action of the suction device, providing a driving force for the sewage to be discharged from the filtering device.

Continuously regenerable scrubber

Regeneration of a fluid medium can be accomplished using a continuously regenerable scrubber, which, in its various embodiments, combines valve functions and sorbent material, such as amine beds, into one component, dramatically reducing size and mass of scrubber. Sorbent material beds rotate continuously past breathing gas vent loop ports for scrubbing CO.sub.2/H.sub.2O and then past vacuum ports for regenerating the sorbent material. Typically, a first fluid output is connected to a lower header fluid output and a second, sweeping fluid source connected to a lower header fluid input. A motor spins the substantially circular bed assembly at a predetermined speed which allows adsorption or absorption as well as desorption of materials flowing through the sorbent material.

A filter for filtering a flow of liquid a filter assembly with a number of filter disks coaxially arrayed along a central flow path within a pressure vessel. Each filter disk has a number of segments. The segments are preferably implemented as spacers with outward-facing filler screen support configurations supporting first and second filter screens. The filter screen support configurations have a cellular form that is open over a majority of a surface area, An arrangement of support ribs are deployed to maintain a spacing between the first and second filter screen support configurations. At least 80 percent of an internal volume of each of the segments is preferably open to allow liquid flow from the screens to the central flow path. Also disclosed are modular structure's of the filter disks, and a backwash arrangement which performs a spiral scanning motion across the surface of each filter disk.

Filter systems are provided comprising a filter element and a backflush device configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element. The filter element can comprise one or more elongate supporting portions for supporting a filtration means; and the backflush device can comprise an elongate outlet configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element such that the backflush fluid flow intersects the filter element along a line that is non-parallel with the one or more elongate supporting portions, wherein the elongate outlet comprises at least two separate outlets. A backflush device for a filter system is also provided.

Oil side-stream cleaning device

The oil side-flow cleaning device includes a heating unit (11) installed between the oil tank and the filter unit (10) so that, when the oil temperature is below a defined limit value, oil flows through the filter unit (10) in such a way as to bypass the filtering function and is heated; and so that, when the oil temperature is above the defined limit, oil flows through the filter unit (10) so as to be subjected to the oil filtering function. In addition or as an alternative, the oil side-flow cleaning device comprises a backflush unit including a backflush collecting tank (17) and a backflush nozzle (18), wherein, when the device is in backflush mode, oil flows through the filter medium (16) in a second, opposite direction as a function of the position of the backflush nozzle (18) relative to the filter medium (16).
