Filter element
A filter device with a removable termination part (81; 82) and a housing (3) that receives a replaceable filter element (5) having two end caps (25,47). Between the end caps, a filter material (12) extends. A positioning device (65) is arranged between the termination part (81; 82) and one end cap (47). The positioning device positions the filter element (5) within the housing (3), at least when viewed in the circumferential direction of the filter element, in interaction with at least one corresponding positioning element (71) of the end cap (47).
Water Filtration System and Method
A modular water filtration system including a filter manifold and a filter cartridge is provided. The filter manifold includes a body, a first arm member, a second arm member, a brace, and a slot positioned on the brace. The filter cartridge includes a cartridge head and a fin member protruding upwardly from the cartridge head, and the fin member is sized to be received within the slot of the filter manifold. The filter cartridge is adapted to engage the filter manifold through a horizontal force when the fin member is aligned with the slot.
Filter and method of fabricating same
A filter element having a central axis includes a first endplate having a first central aperture, a second endplate having a second central aperture, a filter material positioned between the first endplate and the second endplate and having an axial passageway extending therebetween and along the central axis, the axial passageway axially aligned with the first central aperture and the second central aperture. The filter element includes a plurality of fingers attached to the first endplate and positioned circumferentially about the central axis and extending parallel therewith, each finger having a lip that extends from a surface of its respective finger for axial engagement with a respective nodule, of a plurality of nodules, of a filter head.
Water purifying apparatus and filter structure
A water purifying apparatus including a head having a water inlet portion and a water outlet portion; a shaft provided in the head and rotatably mounted between the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion; a bypass flow path passing through a circumference of the shaft, and communicating the water inlet portion with the water outlet portion according to rotation of the shaft; a filter detachably mounted to the head, and having a filter inserting portion in which the shaft is inserted when being mounted on the head; and a filtering flow path in which an inlet port and an outlet port are formed on the circumference of the shaft in a direction intersecting the bypass flow path, and communicated between the filter, the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion with each other according to the rotation of the shaft.
FUEL FILTER CARTRIDGE WITH KEYED PROFILE
A filtration system comprises a filter head assembly comprising an outlet slot, valve element, and latch element. The valve element is in fluid communication with the outlet slot and includes an open position and a closed position. In the open position fluid flow travels through the outlet slot. In the closed position fluid flow is prevented through the outlet slot. The latch element is configured to lock the valve element in the closed position. The filtration further comprises a filter cartridge structured to engage the filter head assembly. The filter cartridge comprises a first and second filter end. The filter cartridge comprises filter media and a keyed element disposed on the first filter end. The keyed element is structured for engagement of the latch element, wherein the engagement unlocks the valve element causing the valve element to be in the open position.
PUSH FILTER WITH FLOATING KEY LOCK
A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the printed circuit board.
Water filtration system and method
A water filtration system that includes a filter manifold having a rotatable cover is provided. A filter cartridge is provided that includes a sump having a filter head integrally secured to a first end and cap releasably secured to a second end. A locking mechanism extending from the cover locks into the filter manifold to position the cartridge in an “in-use” state. The filter cartridge further includes two offset cylindrical inlet and outlet members protruding from the filter head that are designed to engage corresponding inlet and outlets of the filter manifold through a horizontal engagement mechanism. A check valve is positioned within the filter manifold adjacent the inlet of the filter cartridge to control fluid flow through the water filtration system. The filter cartridge head includes fins upwardly extending therefrom that are configured to engage corresponding slots formed in a plurality of corrugated channels of the filter manifold.
FLUID FILTER WITH OPTICAL KEY AND MANIFOLD WITH OPTICAL LOCK
Keyed fluid-handling devices comprise a fluid-handling device such as a filter, a bypass, or an adapter and an optical key. The optical keys are amenable to all types of filter component and can be readily retrofitted to existing designs. The optical keys may be formed from a variety of materials and combination of phases. That is, optical keys may comprise one or more solid materials, or perhaps may result from a combination of: solid materials, such as in transparent or semi-transparent polymers or glass; liquid fluids, such as water; and gaseous gaps such as an air gap. Optical keys may be light conduits or light guides. Filter manifolds comprise optical locks to ensure compatibility of the filter components.
Water treatment dispensing apparatus
A water treatment dispensing apparatus has a container for holding water from a water supply and a water disinfectant cartridge located within the container. A housing attached to the container and connected to the cartridge directs water from the cartridge to a remote location, such as a dental instrument. An air pressure device supplies water under pressure to the container to force water to flow through the cartridge and to the remote location.
