Filter bags comprising a porous membrane
A filter bag is disclosed that comprises a porous membrane having a strength in the transverse direction to improve durability. There is a filter assembly for filtering particulates from a gas stream comprising a support substructure and a filter bag at least partially surrounding the support substructure. The filter bag comprises a porous membrane having a upstream surface exposed to the gas stream. The porous membrane is lightweight and has a structure to collect the particulates on the upstream surface. In particular, the porous membrane has a bubble point of 0.06 MPa or more and has a strength in a transverse direction that is 100 N/m or more. Other filter bags disclosed comprise a laminate comprising a porous membrane having a bubble point of 0.06 MPa or more and a second layer that acts as a sacrificial material.
NANOMATERIAL INCLUDING NANOFIBERS AND BEADS FOR HEPA AIR FILTER MEDIA
Nanomaterials (100) in particular HEPA air filter media. One embodiment is a nanomaterial (100) that includes a plurality of nanofibers (140) that form a randomly interwoven network defining three-dimensional pores (160) therein. The nanomaterial further includes a plurality of beads (120) with a bead diameter of 2-20 m that are distributed randomly within the plurality of nanofibers (140). The beads (120) support the nanofibers (140) to prevent the pores (160) from collapsing.
Filter System and Filter Element with Fiberglass-Containing Filter Medium and Wound Body Fiberglass-Barrier
A filter system with a filter housing that has an inlet for the fluid to be filtered and an outlet for the filtered fluid. A filter element is arranged in the filter housing and is provided with a fiberglass-containing filter medium. A fiberglass barrier for retaining fiberglass particles contained in the filtered fluid is arranged fluidically downstream of the fiberglass-containing filter medium. The fiberglass barrier is a wound body of a wound filter material with an average pore size of smaller than 20 m. The wound body has a maximum winding thickness of 1.5 mm.
Filter element
A filter element comprising two layers of weft (1) interlaced with warp (2). Additionally laid-in (3) yarns are provided in-between the two weft layers. The laid-in yarns (3) are not interlaced with the weft.

ECO-FRIENDLY AIR FILTER ELEMENT HAVING FIXATION POCKETS AND REUSABLE EXOSKELETON FRAME
A replaceable air filter element is provided with fixation pockets configured to record corers or edges of reusable exoskeleton support frame. The exoskeleton support frame, The reusable exoskeleton support frame is adapted to detachably engage the fixation pockets to support the filter medium. The exoskeleton support frame of the filter element is configured to be reused such that only the filter medium is replaced, thereby reducing the environmental waste and making for a green eco-friendly air filter element.
Storm Water Pretreatment Chamber
The present invention provides a storm water pretreatment chamber. The storm water pretreatment chamber includes: a base, an inlet sidewall, a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a filter sidewall, a handle, a first locking mechanism, a second locking mechanism, a first lifting cable, and a second lifting cable. Methods of treating storm water are also provided.
FILTER FOR GAS GENERATOR AND GAS GENERATOR
Provided is a cylindrical filter for a gas generator including a metal wire in a wound state, the metal wire including a plurality of recess portions provided on a first surface side and formed at intervals in a length direction thereof, the metal wire being wound with a surface including the recess portions facing an inner circumferential surface side of the cylindrical filter for a gas generator, and the recess portions of the metal wire being present on an inner side of the metal wire which extends from an inner circumferential surface toward an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical filter.
WASHING APPARATUS FOR 3D-PRINTED ARTICLES
A washing apparatus for a 3D-printed article is provided for the removal of support material from the article. The apparatus includes a glove isolation cabinet with a liquid-discharging nozzle to enable an operator to spray an article with a washing liquid, and a drain. A first filter arrangement receives liquid discharged from the cabinet. The washing liquid drains through the first filter arrangement under the influence of gravity but the first filter arrangement is located in a trough in which washing liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement accumulates whereby, in use, one or more filters of the first filter arrangement are submerged to ensure filtered-out residue remains submerged in the washing liquid. A pump is provided to pump liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement through a second filter arrangement adapted to filter out solid material equal to or greater than 5 m in size.
