IN PROCESS SCREEN PARAMETER MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL
A technique facilitates construction of a wire-wrapped screen. A wrapping machine is operated with a sensor, e.g. a camera, positioned adjacent the wrapping machine while wire is wrapped to create the wire-wrapped screen. The sensor is used to obtain data on at least one parameter of the wire-wrapped screen during creation of the wire-wrapped screen. Data is provided to a controller in communication with the wrapping machine to improve the quality of the wire-wrapped screen. For example, data from the images obtained via the camera may be provided to the controller which is configured to determine slot width as the wire is wrapped. The controller is then able to provide feedback in real time to the wrapping machine so as to adjust the wrapping machine for maintaining a desired slot width.
FILTER MODULE FOR WATER DISPENSING DEVICE
A filter module for a water dispensing device according to the present disclosure includes a filter housing which has an inflow port and a discharge port, and a plurality of filters which includes a filtration member provided in the filter housing to purify water flowing therein through the inflow port and to supply purified water to the discharge port, and filtering raw water flowing therein from the outside into purified water, and the filter module includes a pre-filter through which raw water passes firstly and in which a first carbon block having a hollow shape is built-in, a hollow fiber membrane (UF membrane) filter through which water passes through the pre-filter passes secondly, a second carbon block having a hollow shape through which water passing through the hollow fiber membrane filter passes thirdly, and an electrostatic adsorption member through which water passing through the second carbon block passes fourthly.

A depth filter with excellent filtration accuracy and pressure resistance performance even for fluids containing high density and high viscosity powder fine particles. A depth filter having a base material layer, a filtration layer, and a skin layer, in that order, wherein: the substrate layer and the skin layer are layers made by a nonwoven fabric being wound and thermally fused; the filtration layer is a laminate in which at least a nonwoven fabric and a net are laminated, being wound twice or more; and the nonwoven fabric contained in the filtration layer contains a mixed-fiber nonwoven fabric containing two or more types of fibers with mutually different average fiber diameters.
GAS GENERATOR AND FILTER FOR GAS GENERATOR
A gas generator includes a housing, an ignition device, a combustion chamber filled with a gas generating agent, a gas discharge port configured to discharge combustion gas to an outside, and a filter portion disposed between the combustion chamber and the gas discharge port, formed of a metal material, and configured to filter the combustion gas. The filter portion includes a first filter disposed on a side of the combustion chamber and a second filter disposed on a side of the gas discharge port and facing the first filter. The gas generator is provided with a space that is provided between the first filter and the second filter, so as to include a position where the combustion gas flows and to have a predetermined thickness in a direction of flow of the combustion gas, causing a flow rate of the combustion gas flowing into the second filter to decrease due to absence of the metal material.
Systems and Methods of Filtering Particulate Matter From a Fluid
Systems and methods of filtering particulate matter from a fluid are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a system for filtering particulate matter from a liquid comprises a filter having a filter housing, inlet and outlet ports, and compressible filter media with synthetic fibers. Further, the filter media is disposed in the housing between the inlet and outlet ports and is operable to filter particulate matter from the liquid. Also, a pressure difference between the inlet and outlet ports with the filter media disposed in the housing is no more than four pounds per square inch differential. In addition, the system includes a pump that is operationally coupled to the filter and operable to move the liquid through the filter media with a flux rate of at least eighteen gallons per minute per square foot of the filter media while operating at less than one electrical horsepower.
Cartridge filter using nanofiber composite fiber yarn and method for manufacturing same
Provided is a cartridge filter using nanofiber composite fiber yarn, the cartridge filter including: a core having a plurality of holes through which a liquid passes; and a filter medium wound around the core to collect an object to be filtered contained in the liquid, wherein the filter medium comprises composite fiber yarn in which a nanofiber web which is produced by accumulating nanofibers produced by an electrospinning method is laminated to a porous nonwoven fabric, to thus provide excellent durability and improved filtration performance.
HIGH FLOW COALESCER
According to one aspect of the invention, a coalescer cartridge for separating a first fluid from a second fluid includes a pleated filter media portion including a pleated fluid separation layer configured to separate a first fluid from a second fluid, the first fluid forming relatively small droplets of fluid suspended in the second fluid; and a wrap filter media portion downstream of the pleated media portion including a droplet growth layer configured to coalesce the relatively small droplets of the first fluid into relatively larger droplets of the first fluid.

Disclosed is a desorber (20) for an air conditioning system with an integrated microemulsion-based air dehumidification system, the desorber having: a desorbing sheet that is wound to form an exterior end (21), an interior end (22), a top end and bottom end, wherein a collection tube (23) is disposed at the interior end and the desorbing sheet has: a plurality of de-entrainment mesh layers extending between the exterior end and the interior end of the desorbing sheet, and a plurality of substantially air impermeable connector layers extending between the exterior end and the interior end of the desorbing sheet, wherein the connector layers are interlaid with the mesh layers between the top end and the bottom end of the desorbing sheet.
Filter medium, method for producing same and the filter medium in a filter element
A filter medium (1) includes a substrate layer (2) and a nanofiber layer (3), the nanofiber layer (3) being connected to the substrate layer (2) by adhesive and/or hot-melt adhesive fibers (4) which pass through the nanofiber layer. In the sequence of layers, the nanofiber layer (3) is located between the substrate layer (2) and the adhesive and/or hot-melt adhesive fibers (4). An adhesion promoter layer (6) is present between the nanofiber layer (3) and the substrate layer (2), which adhesion promoter layer comprises an adhesion promoting agent applied over the surface of the substrate layer (2), the nanofiber layer (3) being fixed to the substrate layer (2) by means of the adhesion promoter layer (6). A method for producing the filter medium (1) and a use of the filter medium (1) are also disclosed.
