Method to provide pipeline quality natural gas
The present invention relates to a method of separating and recovering NGLs from a natural gas feedstream. Specifically, the present method allows for the separation of ethane and heavier hydrocarbons and/or propane and heavier hydrocarbons from a raw natural gas feedstream to provide pipeline quality natural gas. One embodiment of this method provides for the use of a regenerable adsorbent media which is regenerated by a microwave heating system. Said regeneration step may be operated as a batch process, a semi-continuous process, or a continuous process.
Method and installation for dehydration by means of a deliquescent product
Dehydration method for a liquid or gaseous effluent selected from LPG, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, solvents and natural gases, by inserting the liquid or gaseous effluent against gravity through a drying column having a drying bed with an initial height (H+h) constituted in its lower area by an inert material bed having the height of h and in its upper area by deliquescent desiccants having an initial height of H. The deliquescent desiccants have an initial weight of between 3 and 40 g, the h/H ratio is lower than 0.49, and the inert material has a specific surface area greater than 100 m2/m3 and lower than 800 m2/m3. The method further includes separating water obtained from the liquid or gaseous effluent.
Gas purification filter unit
This gas purification filter unit (10) is provided with: a first elimination unit (11) that eliminates gas component impurities among the impurities contained in ozone generated from an ozone generating device; and a second elimination unit (12) that is disposed at a later stage than the first elimination unit and that further eliminates solid particulate impurities from among the impurities from which the gas component has been eliminated. Ozone containing impurities are caused to flow in from the inflow end (10a) of such a gas purification filter unit (10) and is passed through the first elimination unit (11) and second elimination unit (12), and thus ozone from which impurities have been eliminated is discharged from an outflow end (10b).
ADSORBENT, CANISTER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ADSORBENT
An object of the present invention is to provide an adsorbent and a canister which can improve adsorption performance and purge performance. An adsorbent 10 to be packed in a canister includes: a cylindrical outer wall 10A, and a plurality of ribs 10B for partitioning along an axis of the outer wall 10A into a plurality of cells, wherein the thickness da of the outer wall 10A and the thickness dβ of the ribs 10B is less than 0.6 mm, the thickness of at least either of the outer wall 10A and the ribs 10B exceeds 0.4 mm, the outer diameter D of the outer wall 10A is 3.5 mm or more and 40 mm or less, a BWC exceeds 3.0 g/dL, and
purge efficiency((amount of butane adsorbed−amount of butane retained)/amount of butane adsorbed) is more than 0.86 or more.
OXYGEN SCAVENGER COMPOSITION AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SAME
An oxygen scavenger composition including a mixed granule that includes a water retention agent, a swelling agent, a metal salt, water, and iron, as well as a method for producing the oxygen scavenger composition, the method including: collectively mixing a water retention agent, a swelling agent, a metal salt, water, and iron for granulation.
METAL SULFIDES ON ALKALI EARTH PARTICLE SUBSTRATES
The present disclosure relates to methods for producing metal sulfide disposed on particle substrates. In at least one embodiment, a method for producing an alkali earth hydroxide particle having a metal sulfide disposed thereon includes introducing an alkali earth oxide particle with a metal sulfate to form a first composition. The method includes introducing an alkali sulfide or an alkali earth sulfide with the first composition to form a second composition. The present disclosure further relates to compositions of matter having metal sulfide disposed on a particle substrate. In at least one embodiment, a composition of matter includes an alkali earth hydroxide particle. The composition of matter includes a metal sulfide disposed on the alkali earth hydroxide particle.
Mixtures for the adsorption of acidic gases
The invention relates to mixtures containing basic anion exchangers and flow regulators, the use thereof for the adsorption of acidic gases and of carbon dioxide in particular, a process for continuous gas adsorption, and heat exchangers that contain the mixtures containing basic anion exchangers and flow regulators.
ELECTROSWING ADSORPTION CELL WITH PATTERNED ELECTRODES FOR SEPARATION OF GAS COMPONENTS
The present disclosure relates to systems and electroswing adsorption cells with patterned electrodes. The patterned electrode includes a plurality of electrolyte regions, a plurality of gas regions and a conductive scaffold. The conductive scaffold extends into the plurality of electrolyte regions and includes an electroactive species. Methods for the manufacture of the electrode, the electroswing adsorption cell and gas separation systems including the electroswing adsorption cell are also described.
Activated Amino Containing Metal Organic Framework (MOF) Compositions, Process of Making and Process of Use Thereof
This invention relates to metal organic framework (MOF) compositions, methods of preparing them and methods of using them. The MOF compositions are characterized in that at least a portion of the linker molecule is an amino containing organic linker. The MOF also has a crystal size of greater than 1 μm and has been treated with an acid wash to provide a MOF in which at least 55% of the amino groups are activated amino groups of the form —NH.sub.2. The MOF compositions are useful in adsorbing various contaminants from various gas stream. One specific example is adsorbing NO.sub.2 from an air stream.
FILTER MEDIA COMPRISING ADSORPTIVE PARTICLES
Filter media comprising adsorptive particles are generally described. In some embodiments, the adsorptive particles are present in a relatively large amount, in a layer discrete from one or more other layers and/or fiber webs also present in the filter media, and/or in a layer that comprises a relatively low amount of fibers. In some embodiments, the filter media further comprises a non-woven fiber web comprising fibers with relatively small diameters.
