Peer-to-peer wagering platform
Data characterizing historical skills-based gaming metrics for a first user and historical skills-based gaming metrics for at least one second user is accessed. Using the accessed data and a set of rules, a targeted advertisement to present to the first user is determined. The targeted advertisement specifies at least one skills-based game and a characterization of the at least one second user's historical skills-based gaming metrics. The targeted advertisement is generated. Data characterizing the targeted advertisement is provided. Related apparatus, systems, techniques, and articles are also described.
System and method for gaming based upon intermediate points in a race event
Systems and methods related to gaming based on the results at intervals of a race. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Scavenger hunt facilitation
Methods and systems for facilitating a scavenger hunt. The systems and methods described herein involve receiving at an interface a list of a plurality of attractions, and communicating the list of the plurality of attractions to at least one device associated with a participant over a network. Scavenger hunt participants may then gather imagery of the required attractions. The systems and methods described herein then involve receiving imagery from the at least one participant and executing at least one computer vision procedure to determine whether the received imagery includes at least one of the plurality of attractions.
Laser-arrayed immersive amusement attraction
An immersive amusement system features a path to be traversed by participants, a first array of devices mounted on a first side of said path, and a second array of devices mounted on an opposing second side of said path. Each device comprises either a beam emitter operable to transmit a respective visible beam, or a beam receiver operable to detect receipt thereby of a visible beam. The arrayed devices are setup in co-operable pairs, of which each co-operable pair comprises a beam emitter in one of said arrays and a corresponding beam receiver in the other of said arrays. A controller operably connected to the arrayed devices is configured to selectively activate and deactivate said beam emitters to cause transmission of visible beams from said beam emitters to said corresponding beam receivers, and to monitor for breaking of any of said visible beams by any of said participants.
Resistance control systems and methods for amusement attractions
A resistance control system of an amusement attraction includes a support assembly having a base, a pivot joint, and a support beam extending between the base and the pivot joint. The resistance control system includes a spring plate coupled to the pivot joint of the support assembly, and includes at least one spring engaged with the spring plate. Additionally, the resistance control system includes an actuator plate positioned between the spring plate and the base of the support assembly, as well as at least one actuator coupled between the actuator plate and the base. The at least one actuator is configured to move and secure the actuator plate relative to the pivot joint to adjust a resistance to movement about the pivot joint.
Systems and methods for interactive physical environments
An interactive physical environment providing entertainment to a patron includes a room formed by modular walls coupled to one another, a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag associated with the patron, and a control system. The room presents a game to a patron. The game includes a plurality of game components positionable in a first game configuration and a second game configuration. The first game configuration presenting a first challenge and the second game configuration presenting a second challenge. The second game configuration representing a solution to the first challenge. The control system receives patron identification information from the RFID tag associated with the patron. The control system selectively modifying the game presented by the room responsive to the received patron identification information.

GAMING MACHINE
The present invention provides a gaming machine that can maintain expectation in a game in which a prize is selectively granted to a player and continue the game. The gaming machine includes a display that displays a video reel having a plurality of symbols including a predetermined symbol and a plurality of cells, to each of which a prize is allocated and a controller that executes a base game in which a bet is necessary and the plurality of symbols are rearranged after scrolling of the video reel, when the predetermined symbol is rearranged in the base game, displays content of a prize of a cell in which the content of the prize is not displayed, when contents of prizes of all of the plurality of cells are displayed, selects one cell from the plurality of cells by lottery, and, when content of a prize allocated to the one cell is a transition to a bonus game more advantageous than the base game, transitions the base game to the bonus game.
Method and System for Managing Virtual Personal Space
A method and system for managing personal virtual space, comprising: establishing at least one threshold distance needed to generate a personal virtual space breach alert; creating a first unique identifying signal; transducing the signal into a transmissible medium; transmitting the signal by a first electronic device; receiving the signal by at least one other electronic device; processing the signal with at least one processor; calculating distance to first electronic device using the processed signal; communicate the distance to at least one management processor; calculating at least one other distance from the first electronic device to the other electronic device; communicate the at least one other distance to the management processor; calculating a personal virtual space breach from the distances; creating a personal virtual space breach alert; transmitting the personal virtual space breach alert; receiving the personal virtual space breach alert at a plurality of physical notification devices; changing the state of at least one of the physical notification devices.
