SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REACTIVE REGENERATION OF SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION CATALYSTS
A controller for controlling regeneration of a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst of an aftertreatment system is configured to cause increase in a SCR catalyst temperature of the SCR catalyst to a first regeneration temperature, the first regeneration temperature being lower than a high regeneration temperature that is equal to or greater than 500 degrees Celsius. The controller is configured to determine an amount of ammonia slip downstream of the SCR catalyst; and cause an increase in the SCR catalyst temperature to a second regeneration temperature greater than the first regeneration temperature but lower than the high regeneration temperature based on the determined amount of ammonia slip.

CATALYTIC OXIDATION OF CARBON BLACK EXHAUST GAS
Method for treating a carbon black tail gas wherein the carbon black tail gas is catalytically oxidized to produce an oxidized tail gas. The oxidized tail gas is then treated to remove particulate matter and sulfur oxides. If present, nitrogen oxides can be also removed.
Synthesis of high surface area, high entropy oxides
High surface area, high entropy oxides comprising multiple metal cations in a single-phase fluorite lattice material enables intrinsic catalytic activity without platinum group metals, tunable oxygen storage capacity, and thermal stability. These properties can be obtained through a facile sol-gel synthesis to provide a low-temperature route for production of phase-pure multi-cationic oxides. The resulting materials achieved significantly higher surface area and catalytic performance, taking advantage of all the properties endowed by the various cations in the composition.
Exhaust gas purifying catalyst

HYDROCARBON RECLAMATOR
A hydrocarbon reclamator consists of a closed chamber having an exhaust inlet port, a hydrogen inlet port, and a hydrocarbon outlet port. A magnetic flux is generated at the base of the closed chamber and a rotor is suspended by the magnetic flux within the closed chamber. The rotor is formed as a Tesla turbine having axially spaced discs concentrically mounted on a central shaft, a catalyst is formed on surfaces of the discs, and flow holes are formed through the discs. Venturi forces direct gas to release kinetic energy against the discs, so that hydrogen entering the chamber combines with carbon entering the chamber to form a hydrocarbon that exits the chamber via the hydrocarbon outlet port.
