MSECT-4 MOLECULAR SIEVES WITH OFF AND ERI TOPOLOGIES, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides msect-4 molecular sieves with OFF and ERI topologies, a preparation method therefor, and applications thereof. An eight-membered ring small pore molecular sieve used as a raw material is dispersed in an aqueous phase. Following that, caustic potash, an aluminum source, and an organic structure-directing agent (OSDA) are added. The pH value is then adjusted to be greater than 10, and a silicon source is introduced to attain the desired silicon-aluminum ratio, followed by stirring reaction, aging, crystallization, filtration, washing, ammonia exchange reaction, drying, and calcination. The msect-4 molecular sieves with OFF and ERI topologies, the preparation method therefor, and applications exhibit excellent hydrothermal stability, a plurality of adsorption sites exposed by a regular bone-like structure, and a large specific surface area. Consequently, this molecular sieves find applicability across various technical fields including selective catalytic reduction, passive adsorption, and catalytic cracking, and has broad application prospects.

The structured catalyst for oxidation for exhaust gas purification includes a support having a porous structure constituted by a zeolite-type compound, and at least one type of oxidation catalyst that is present in the support and selected from the group consisting of metal and metal oxide, the support having channels that communicate with each other, and the oxidation catalyst being present in at least the channels of the support.
Emission control during catalyst regeneration
Catalyst regeneration processes that include measures for controlling emissions generated during the regeneration are described. The present invention further relates to catalytic processes for producing various chlorinated aromatic compounds that include provisions for controlling emissions during catalyst regeneration.
Systems, methods and materials for hydrogen sulfide conversion
Systems and methods use bimetallic alloy particles for converting hydrogen sulfide (H.sub.2S) to hydrogen (H.sub.2) and sulfur (S), typically during multiple operations. In a first operation, metal alloy composite particles can be converted to a composite metal sulfide. In a second operation, composite metal sulfide from the first operation can be regenerated back to the metal alloy composite particle using an inert gas stream. Pure, or substantially pure, sulfur can also be generated during the second operation.
CATALYTIC REACTION APPARATUS COMPRISING COATING COMPOSITION FOR CATALYST AND COATING METHOD
A catalytic reaction apparatus includes a coating composition for a catalyst and a catalyst portion to which the coating composition is applied, wherein the coating composition includes 1 to 15 parts by weight of tungsten, 1 to 15 parts by weight of vanadium, 35 to 55 parts by weight of titanium and 30 to 45 parts by weight of oxygen. This apparatus is configured to prevent a decrease in catalytic reaction efficiency in a specific temperature environment, thereby maximizing versatility.
THERMAL OXIDATION OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS USING A CATALYST LAYER WITHIN A WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT
Methods and systems for treating volatile organic compounds (VOCs) generated in a hydrocarbon treating process are disclosed. An effluent stream containing the VOCs, as well as carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) is combined with hot exhaust gas from a turbine and provided to a waste heat recovery unit (WHRU). The WHRU is adapted to contain a catalyst bed containing oxidation catalyst capable of effecting the oxidation of the VOCs. The temperature of the catalyzing reaction can be tailored based on the position of the catalyst bed within the temperature gradient of the WHRU. The methods and systems described herein solve the problem of effecting the removal of VOCs from the effluent. Heating the CO.sub.2-containing effluent in the WHRU also lend buoyancy to the effluent, thereby facilitating its dispersal upon release.
Delafossite-type oxide for exhaust gas purification catalyst, and exhaust gas purification catalyst using same
In relation to a Cu-based delafossite-type oxide that is effective as an exhaust gas purification catalyst, Cu is placed in a high catalytic activity low-valence state, whereby a novel Cu-based delafossite-type oxide having higher activity than in the past is provided. Proposed is a delafossite-type oxide for an exhaust gas purification catalyst that is represented by a general formula ABO.sub.2, wherein Cu and Ag are contained in the A site of the general formula, one or two or more elements selected from the group consisting of Mn, Al, Cr, Ga, Fe, Co, Ni, In, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Y, V, and Ti are contained in the B site of the general formula, and Ag is contained at a ratio of 0.001 at. % or more and less than 20 at. % in the A site of the general formula.
Ion-exchanged molecular sieve catalysts exhibiting reduced N2O emissions
The present disclosure generally provides catalysts, catalyst articles and catalyst systems including such catalyst articles. In particular, the catalyst composition includes a metal ion-exchanged molecular sieve ion-exchanged with at least one additional metal, which reduces the number of metal centers often present in metal promoted zeolite catalysts. Methods of making and using the catalyst composition are also provided, as well as emission treatment systems including a catalyst article coated with the catalyst composition. The catalyst article present in such emission treatment systems is useful to catalyze the reduction of nitrogen oxides in gas exhaust in the presence of a reductant while minimizing the amount of dinitrogen oxide emission.
