Disclosed herein is a system for recovering olefins from a vent stream comprising an absorber; and a stripper; where the absorber and the stripper are in a recycle loop; and where the absorber is operative to treat a vent stream with a solvent to remove more than 99 wt % of a halogenated by-product contained in the vent stream and to recover 90 to 95 wt % of olefin molecules present in the vent stream; and where the stripper is operative to remove more than 99 wt % of the halogenated by-products present in the solvent; and where the solvent is recycled to the absorber.
Waste Battery Thermal Desorption Treatment System
This disclosure provides a waste battery thermal desorption treatment system. The waste battery thermal desorption treatment system includes: a rotary kiln, having a feed port, thermal desorption cavity, heating cavity, discharge port, and first exhaust port; a dust removal apparatus, including a housing with a gas inlet port and a second exhaust port, and a dust removal structure disposed in the housing configured to collect impurities in a gas exhausted from the first exhaust port; a condenser, in communication with the second exhaust port, to condense an electrolyte constituent; and an adsorption column having a defluorination agent for dry defluorination on remaining constituents in the gaseous exhaust. This disclosure resolves the problem of low recycling efficiency of waste lithium batteries in the prior art.
Vacuum pumping and abatement system
The present invention relates to a vacuum pumping and abatement system for evacuating processing gas from a process chamber and removing noxious substances from the processing gas. The present invention also relates to a method of purging a vacuum pumping arrangement. The present invention seeks to reduce the cost of ownership and operation and carbon footprint of such systems, by providing a vacuum pumping and abatement system for evacuating processing gas from a process chamber and removing noxious substances from the processing gas, comprising a vacuum pumping arrangement for evacuating processing gas from a process chamber; a source of compressed air for purging the vacuum pumping arrangement during evacuation; and a burner for receiving processing gas and compressed air from the vacuum pumping arrangement and removing noxious substances therefrom by burning the processing gas in oxygen wherein at least some of the oxygen that supports combustion is derived from the compressed air.
