Decontaminating column for on-line replacing adsorption material and glove box

This invention discloses a decontaminating column for on-line replacing adsorption material, and it includes: a tank having an inner tank being used for filling the adsorption material, and one end of the tank being set to be opened; at least one discharging part is being attached to the tank, and an open-close unit by which the adsorption material can be discharged and which is installed between the discharging part and the tank. There is a chamber in the discharging part, which is connected to a gas replacement unit. At the same time, this invention also discloses a glove box. Compared with the existing technology, this invention effectively solves the problems of low efficiency, high manufacturing cost and high maintenance cost generated by decontaminating column replacement mode in the existing technology; In addition, when the decontaminating column is used in the glove box, replacing the adsorption material can ensure that the water oxygen in the glove box is prevented from leaking out and/or the water oxygen outside of the glove box is prevented from penetrating into the box.

Utilization of pollutants from internal combustion engines

Nitrogen oxides formed in combustion engines are recycled such that the nitrogen oxides can be utilized for producing liquid or solid chemicals. The nitrogen oxides are recycled by a method including an adsorber material adsorbing nitrogen oxides from an exhaust-gas stream of the combustion engine, removing the adsorber material laden with nitrogen oxides, desorbing the adsorbed nitrogen oxides from the adsorber material, and converting the nitrogen oxides desorbed from the adsorber material into liquid or solid nitrogen-containing compounds.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING AIRBORNE MOLECULAR CONTAMINANTS FROM GAS STREAMS
20210031141 · 2021-02-04 ·

System and method for removing molecular contaminants from an air stream are disclosed. The system includes first, second and third filter. The first filter removes organic contaminants from an air stream passing through the first filter. The second filter is downstream of the first filter, is physically and chemically exchangeable with the first filter and removes organic contaminants from the air stream output of the first filter. The third filter, downstream of the second filter, is not exchangeable with the first filter or the second filter. The first position filter can be replaced by the second filter in the second position when the first filter in the first position becomes depleted as detected. A new filter in the second filter position is inserted. Replacing the depleted first filter with the second downstream filter reduces costs and waste while inserting the new filter in the second position ensures removing organic contaminants.

The desiccant breather can also include an outer pipe having a diameter sufficient to accommodate the inner pipe, the outer pipe having a bottom connector and a cap. The desiccant breather can further include a desiccant breather body portion having a cavity configured to hold desiccant material. The lip of the inner pipe can have a diameter equal to or greater than a diameter of the outer pipe.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING REPLACEMENT TIME OF CARTRIDGE OF AIR PROCESSING UNIT
20200318543 · 2020-10-08 ·

A method and system of predicting a replacement time of a cartridge for an air processing unit (APU) of a vehicle, include: checking an internal pressure of an air tank by a controller when an engine of the vehicle is started; calculating and accumulating a passing flow amount through the cartridge of the APU using a pressure change due to filling the air tank with air; and determining that the replacement time of the cartridge has been reached when an accumulated total passing flow amount exceeds a predetermined value. Therefore, it is possible to predict the replacement time of the cartridge by calculating an air flow amount based on the pressure change of the air tank.
