Adsorption column set for separating two or more gases of a gas mixture from each other using pressure swing adsorption
The invention relates to a set for separating two or more gases from each other, including: a first adsorption column set comprising at least two columns in series; an optional number of additional column sets comprising additional columns; connectors connecting each parallel additional column to the column; auxiliary equipment feeding a gas mixture to the columns and additional columns jointly and discharging separated gases according to pressure swing adsorption.
Integration of pressure swing adsorption and hydroprocessing for improved hydrogen utilization
The invention provides a process for providing a hydrogen stream to a process utilizing hydrogen comprising obtaining a gas stream containing hydrogen and compressing the gas stream to a pressure of at least 600 psig, Then the compressed gas stream is sent to a pressure swing adsorption unit containing a plurality of beds with at least 5 pressure equalization steps to produce a hydrogen stream. The hydrogen stream can then be compressed and sent to a process utilizing hydrogen. The compressed gas stream may be chilled before entering the pressure swing adsorption unit.
Apparatus and System For Swing Adsorption Processes
Provided are apparatus and systems for performing a swing adsorption process. This swing adsorption process may involve performing a startup mode process prior to beginning a normal operation mode process to remove contaminants from a gaseous feed stream. The startup mode process may be utilized for swing adsorption processes, such as TSA and/or PSA, which are utilized to remove one or more contaminants from a gaseous feed stream.
Direct air capture device
Separation station (1) with a plurality of separation units (34) for separating carbon dioxide and/or water vapour from ambient air, wherein each separation unit (34) comprises at least one contiguous and sealing circumferential wall circumferentially enclosing at least one cavity (24), said at least one contiguous and sealing circumferential wall defining an upstream opening (35) and an opposed downstream opening (36), said cavity (24) containing at least one gas adsorption structure (25) for adsorbing said at least one gaseous component, preferably under ambient pressure and/or temperature conditions, wherein said plurality of separation units (34) is arranged in at least one essentially vertical collector wall structure (2), laterally enclosing one single common separation station cavity (21), and wherein to the upper side, said separation station cavity (21) is covered and closed by at least one cover unit (1) with at least one air propelling device (10).

CONTAMINANT SCRUBBER OF AN HVAC SYSTEM
A contaminant scrubber of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a housing having a first side wall and a second side wall opposite to the first side wall. The contaminant scrubber also includes a first compartment formed within the housing, a second compartment formed within the housing and having a cartridge set removably disposed therein, and a third compartment formed within the housing, where the second compartment is positioned between the first compartment and the third compartment. The contaminant scrubber also includes a first cross-member beam extending along a first bottom end of the first compartment and a second top end of the second compartment, where the first cross-member beam extends from the first side wall of the housing to the second side wall of the housing. The contaminant scrubber also includes a second cross-member beam extending along a second bottom end of the second compartment and a third top end of the third compartment, wherein the second cross-member beam extends from the first side wall of the housing to the second side wall of the housing.
