A dust collector includes an enclosure and a tube sheet separating filter and clean air compartments. The tube sheet forms a filter opening and a filter is located within the filter compartment and includes a filter flange having an air outlet aligned with said filter opening. The flange includes first and second alignment structures located on a first lateral side of the flange. A clamping assembly includes first and second filter clamps that are movable between a sealing position for sealing the filter flange against the tube sheet, and a release position. The first filter clamp engages the first alignment structure when in the sealing position. The second filter clamp engages the second alignment structure when in the sealing position. The dust collector includes means for moving the filter clamps between the sealing position and the release position.

AIR CLEANER

Systems and apparatuses include a generator set including a chassis, an engine mounted to the chassis, an inverter coupled to the engine, and a housing coupled to the chassis. The engine and inverter are contained within the chassis and the housing. An air cleaner is sized to fit within the housing and includes an air cleaner housing defining an inlet and an outlet, and a sealing surface positioned between the inlet and the outlet, and a cover pivotably coupled to the air cleaner housing and including a carrier sized to be received within the air cleaner housing. The cover includes an air filter receiving feature structured to support an air filter and position the air filter between the inlet and the outlet, and a carrier flange structured to seal a portion of the air filter between the sealing surface and the carrier flange when the cover is arranged in a closed position.

Air cleaner arrangements; serviceable filter elements; and, methods

An air cleaner arrangement or assembly is provided. The air cleaner arrangement includes a serviceable filter cartridge. The air cleaner assembly also includes an arrangement for positioning the filter cartridge into a preferred, sealing, orientation and for securing the filter cartridge in that location. Preferred serviceable filter cartridges are provided, as well as methods of assembly and use.

NON-CYLINDRICAL FILTER ELEMENT AND SIDE ENTRY AIR CLEANER INCORPORATING THE SAME

A filter element is provided that is preferably a side entry air filter having an air filter media pack, a housing seal and a frame that has a clamping projection, a pivot projection and/or guide members. The clamping projection can define a non-linear bearing surface that may be chevron shaped to provide for interface and potential alignment benefits. The housing seal may be a wave seal that undulates.

In one embodiment, a material sorting system comprises: a suction gripper assembly, the suction gripper comprising: a body assembly that includes: an internal airflow passage configured to communicate an airflow between an airflow application port positioned at a first end of the body assembly and a gripping port positioned at the opposing second end of the body assembly; a cup fitting attached to the gripping port; a suction cup secured to the cup fitting; an attachable filer inserted into the suction cup and fastened to the cup fitting; and a mounting assembly, wherein the mounting assembly includes one or more mounting points for pivotally attaching the suction gripper assembly to a sorting robot of the material sorting system.

Air filter having fluted filter media

An air cleaner includes a housing and an access cover. The internal volume of the housing can be reached through an opening in a side wall of the housing. A filter element having fluted filter media is removable and replaceable from the air cleaner. The housing is constructed and arranged to cam the element into sealing engagement with the housing. The access cover includes structure to help support and ensure proper seating of the filter element within the housing. A method of installing the filter element in the air cleaner includes sliding a portion of the filter element against a slide surface in the housing. A method of servicing an air cleaner includes tilting the filter element against a tilt surface in the housing to release a seal between the filter element and the housing. The filter element can have a handle to assist in servicing of the air cleaner. The housing can have a window to allow visual inspection of the internal component of the housing and to determine visually whether a filter element is installed therein.

A filter housing is adapted to be mounted in an air ventilation system and includes: an upstream air entrance opening defined by an air entrance opening frame, a downstream air exit opening defined by an air exit opening frame, a rear wall, a front opening opposite to the rear wall, a cover sealing the front opening, a movable filter holder arranged within the housing and arranged to receive a filter through the front opening, and two clamping mechanisms arranged at opposite first and second walls of the housing. Each clamping device has a release device engaged with the filter holder, and is arranged for releasing the filter from the clamped position to a released position by moving the filter holder.

An air filter, an air filter assembly, and method of installing the air filter into a housing of the air filter assembly are provided. The air filter includes an attachment portion and a lock tab. The lock tab is carried by and resiliently moveable relative to the attachment portion. The lock tab is located radially outward from the attachment portion and movable circumferentially about a central axis of the air filter. Another feature relates to using an end stop in a housing as a catch. Yet another feature relates to using a perforated end cap and capping such perforations with a housing seal.

The present invention concerns an extraction device (14) for removing air from an area above a cooking hob (12), which comprises an air inlet opening (24), a fan (36) for aspirating air from the area above the cooking hob (12) through the air inlet opening (24), a filter (60) element and an outlet opening (30) for exhausting air. According to the invention, the filter element (60) is removably arranged in a filter seat (62) downstream of the air inlet opening (24) and is accessible through the air inlet opening (24). Support means or actuation means are included supporting or facilitating insertion into and/or removal from the filter seat (62). The support means or actuation means are arranged at and/or act on the filter element (60) in a direction at least partially opposite to the direction of insertion.

Filter assembly and media

The present disclosure relates to a filter housing having a bowl and a head. The bowl is configured to house a portion of a filter cartridge. The bowl has an annular groove disposed about a rim of the bowl. The head is configured to mate with the bowl. The head includes an inlet, outlet, and a pair of levers. The inlet is to receive a flow of fluid into the filter housing. The outlet is to release the flow of fluid from the filter housing. The pair of levers are to draw the bowl partially into the head. Each lever has a first arm configured to mate with the annular groove, a second arm having a bearing surface, and a pivot disposed between the first arm and the second arm. A force upon the bearing surface urges the bowl into the head to form a seal.
