STACK PLATE, STACK PLATE DEVICE AND HUMIDIFIER
A stack plate of a stack plate device of a humidifier includes inlay parts extending along two opposing front or longitudinal ends of the stack plate, a semipermeable layer disposed on and being stabilized by the inlay parts, and a frame disposed on multiple portions of the semipermeable layer that are disposed on the inlay parts, the frame circumferentially enclosing a through-opening in the stack plate. A remaining portion of the semipermeable layer completely covers the through-opening. An outer circumferential section of the semipermeable layer and the inlay parts are overmolded by the frame. Opposing front ends of the frame define inflow and outflow regions, respectively, on a first side of the frame for a second fluid, and opposing longitudinal ends of the frame define inflow and outflow regions, respectively, on a second side of the frame for a first fluid.
DESALINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A desalination system that is deployable in a body of water having a surface and a seafloor and which includes a vessel structure that is capable of travel in water, a reverse osmosis system disposed within an internal space of the vessel structure and a tank connected to the reverse osmosis system, the tank configured to receive filtered water from the reverse osmosis system. A positioning system is provided for controlling the travel of the vessel structure, and a ballast system is configured to control the buoyancy of the vessel structure. A controller is operably associated with the positioning system and the ballast system to control the position of the vessel below the surface of the body of water.
Filter module
The present disclosure relates to a filter module for a medical fluid delivery system capable of removing cytokine inducing substances (CIS) from a medical fluid.
FLAT FILTER FOR WATER TREATMENT, AND FILTER MODULE FOR WATER TREATMENT USING SAME
A flat filter for water treatment is provided. The flat filter for water treatment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: filtration members formed in the shape of a plate having a predetermined area; support frames, which are coupled to the rim sides of the filtration members so as to support the filtration members, and have channels into/in which filtered water produced through the filtration members flows and moves; and gap adjustment members coupled to the support frames so as to adjust the gap between the filtration members adjacent to one another.
Blood processing unit with heat exchanger core for providing modified flow path
A blood processing apparatus may include a heat exchanger and a gas exchanger. At least one of the heat exchanger and the gas exchanger may be configured to impart a radial component to blow flow through the heat exchanger and/or gas exchanger. The heat exchanger may be configured to cause blood flow to follow a spiral flow path.
LATERALLY-FED MEMBRANE CHROMATOGRAPHY DEVICE
A method of forming a frame around a membrane stack for a laterally-fed membrane chromatography device is provided. The method includes placing a membrane stack having one or more membrane layers on a bottom surface of body of a master mold, the body having opposed side walls and opposed end walls, the opposed side walls spaced apart by a distance greater than a length of the membrane stack, the opposed end walls spaced apart by a distance greater than a width of the membrane stack; placing a cap on the body of the master mold to enclose the membrane stack in the master mold, the cap having at least one opening for injecting a material into a space defined by the end walls of the master mold, the side walls of the master mold, end walls of the membrane stack side walls of the membrane stack, the bottom surface of the body and an inner surface of the cap; injecting the material into the space around the membrane stack; and curing the material to form a frame around the membrane stack.
MEMBRANE FILTRATION SYSTEM AND MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A membrane filtration system, capable of effectively removing foreign matter attached to a separation membrane while saving energy by reciprocating the separation membrane, includes a treatment bath, a membrane support frame disposed in the treatment bath, a separation membrane module installed in the membrane support frame, a reciprocating part connected with the membrane support frame to reciprocate the membrane support frame, a sludge floating part disposed on a lower end of the membrane support frame to float sludge accumulated in the treatment bath, and a control part controlling a reciprocating distance or frequency of the separation membrane module.
MEMBRANE FILTRATION SYSTEM AND MEMBRANE BIO REACTOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A membrane filtration system and a membrane bio reactor including the same are described. In an example, the membrane filtration system includes: a treatment tank; a membrane support frame disposed in the treatment tank and mounted with a filtration membrane; a reciprocating portion connected to the membrane support frame and reciprocating the membrane support frame; a sliding portion disposed in the treatment tank, connected to the reciprocating portion, and guiding a moving direction of the membrane support frame; and a sludge lifting portion flexibly disposed at a lower end of the membrane support frame to lift sludge accumulated at a lower part of the treatment tank.
