A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a mixer housing (40) with an inflow opening central axis (LE) and with an outflow opening (38). A first flow duct (48) following the inflow opening (24) in the mixer housing (40) and a second flow duct (50) lead parallel to one another to a third flow duct (54) and open into same. The third flow duct (54) leads to the outflow opening (38). The first flow duct (48) and the second flow duct (50) are provided between an outer wall (16) of the mixer housing (40) and a flow divider wall (36) enclosed by the outer wall (16), and the third flow duct (54) is enclosed by the flow divider wall (36).

AEROSOL-GENERATING SYSTEM COMPRISING VENTURI ELEMENT

An aerosol-generating system is provided, including: an aerosol-forming substrate; and a venturi element including an airflow channel, the airflow channel including an inlet portion, a central portion, and an outlet portion, and the inlet portion is configured to converge towards the central portion with an inlet angle of between 1° and 19°, and the outlet portion is configured to diverge from the central portion.

System for mixing a liquid spray into a gaseous flow and exhaust aftertreatment device comprising same

A spray/gas mixer includes a main body having a circumferential wall defining an inlet opening at one end and an outlet opening at another end; a divider baffle within the main body; a swirl duct having a first end adjacent to the wall and a second end extending to the divider baffle; an injector orifice at the first end of the swirl duct; a swirl promoting means; and a restrictor. The swirl promoting means is arranged between the divider baffle and the restrictor. Gas passing through the swirl promoting means is swirled around the first longitudinal axis (A) before passing through the restrictor. The restrictor is disposed between the swirl promoting means and the second end, forcing gas reaching it from an upstream side away from a peripheral region of the interior towards a center axis of the main body.

Apparatus, methods, and systems for mixing and dispersing a dispersed phase in a medium

Apparatus and methods for mixing and dispersing a dispersed phase in a medium comprise a rotating surface for receiving the medium and an atomizing apparatus positioned at the rotating surface for depositing aerosolized constituents of the dispersed phase into the medium. The medium is made receptive and the dispersed phase is aerosolized. Constituents of the aerosolized dispersed phase are deposited into the receptive medium to form a compound or composite. The medium may be deposited onto a rotating disk, and the dispersed phase may be sprayed onto the disk. A thin film can be generated on the disk to transfer, distribute, and disperse the dispersed phase. Liquid ligaments formed at the edge of the rotating disk further transfer, distribute, and disperse the dispersed phase into the medium. Ligaments may be broken into aerosols or deformed by attenuation/drawing to further promote transfer, distribution, and dispersion. A bulk composite/compound may be collected.

BUILDING FEATURE APPLIED IN AIR-CONDITIONING APPLIANCE, capable of enriching the air with atomized water droplets in two stages, where in a first moment the water sent directly from the water supply network is pre-atomized in an appliance; being then delivered to the main atomizer, which produces the final atomization, creating an ultrafine mist that facilitates the thermal exchange between the mist and the air. The air-conditioning appliance must be associated to a fan so as to spread this mist to the room.

The present invention provides a gas generator and comprises an electrolytic cell, a condensate filter device, and an atomizing device. The electrolytic cell is for electrolyzing electrolyzed water to generate a gas with hydrogen. The condensate filter device includes a gas pathway, a filter, and an isolated component. The isolated component is used for limiting the movement of the filter inside the gas pathway. The gas generated from the electrolytic cell is condensed and filtered through the filter for generating a filtered gas with hydrogen. The atomizing device is used for generating an atomizing gas to be mixed with the filtered gas to generate a healthy gas. The present invention uses the condensate filter device to filter out the electrolyte from the filtered gas with hydrogen to be mixed with the atomizing gas for generating the healthy gas.

Mixer

A mixer for mixing an exhaust gas flow with a fluid injected into an exhaust gas line comprises means for generating a swirl effecting a rotating flow and means for a radial displacement in the exhaust gas flow admixed with the fluid and flowing axially through the mixer. In this respect, the swirl generation means and the radial displacement means are arranged and designed such that, viewed over the cross-section of the mixer perpendicular to the axial exhaust gas flow, at least two separate swirl regions result which are built up via tangentially acting vane-like swirl elements and at least one respective radial displacement region results which is arranged between two separate swirl regions.
