Heat Exchanger System with Flexible Bag
A bag assembly for use with a heat exchanger includes a flexible bag having of one or more sheets of polymeric material, the bag having a first end that bounds a first compartment and an opposing second end that bounds a second compartment, a support structure being disposed between the first compartment and the second compartment so that the first compartment is separated and isolated from the second compartment. A first inlet port, a first outlet port, and a first drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the first compartment. A second inlet port, a second outlet port, and a second drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the second compartment.
NANOBUBBLE GENERATION SYSTEM USING FRICTION
The present disclosure relates to a nanobubble generation system using friction in which a frictional force is applied to bubbles included in a gas-liquid mixed fluid so that the atomization of the bubbles is induced and nanobubbles are generated. The nanobubble generation system includes: a chamber including an inlet, an outlet, and an internal space S configured to atomize bubbles included in a gas-liquid mixed fluid; one or more strikers each including a plurality of protrusions provided on a body thereof to simultaneously apply impact to the gas-liquid mixed fluid that flows into the chamber and swirl the fluid in order to cause the gas-liquid mixed fluid to rub against an inner wall of the chamber, the strikers being provided on the driving shaft; a plurality of friction elements provided on the driving shaft in order to apply frictional force to the gas-liquid mixed fluid; and a driving mechanism including the driving shaft and configured to rotate the striker and the friction elements, wherein the friction elements are arranged on the driving shaft to be spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval, and peripheral surfaces of bodies of the friction elements directly face the inner wall of the chamber with a predetermined distance therebetween.
System and method for growing algae
An algae cultivation system may include: a plurality of panels within a cultivation container, positioned along a first axis perpendicular to the gravitational force, wherein a cultivation volume is created between each pair of panels, and wherein the cultivation volumes are fluidly coupled so as to allow horizontal flow therebetween along the first axis; at least one first sparger, to distribute a first fluid into the container at a first operating flow rate; at least one second sparger, to distribute a second fluid into the container at a second operating flow rate; and at least one controller, to control the first operating flow rate and the second operating flow rate. The first operating flow rate may be adapted to allow turbulent mixing the algae in the cultivation container, and the second operating flow rate may be adapted to allow assimilation of materials in a liquid in the cultivation container.

Aeration Device
An aeration device has an entrainment chamber for mixing air and water in a body of water, wherein the air becomes partially dissolved into the water, thus creating water enriched with dissolved air, and excess air that did not dissolve into the water. An air input introduces air into the aeration device and a water input introduces water into the aeration device. Water enriched with dissolved air exits a water discharge of the aeration device at a first level within the body of water. An air exhaust manifold wherein the excess air can exit the water discharge while remaining inside the aeration device, an exhaust stack that permits the excess air to travel up from the air exhaust manifold, and an exhaust that permits the excess air to exit the aeration device at a second level within or above the body of water.
High-flow, high-pressure inline saturator system and method thereof
There is provided an inline saturator system and method for gas exchange with an aqueous-phase liquid. The system includes a pressure vessel, configured to receive a first liquid and a first gas from external sources and to discharge a second liquid and a second gas from the pressure vessel, and a gas infusion device situated within the pressure vessel. The gas infusion device is configured to receive the first liquid and first gas, to facilitate gas exchange therebetween, producing the second liquid and the second gas, and to discharge the second liquid and second gas into the pressure vessel. The system further includes a recirculation system configured to direct a portion of liquid within the pressure vessel back into the saturator device, where injection of the redirected liquid into the gas infusion device forces the first liquid into the gas infusion device for the gas exchange.
MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR SOLIDIFIED MATTER OF ULTRA-FINE BUBBLE-CONTAINING LIQUID, AND SOLIDIFIED MATTER OF ULTRA-FINE BUBBLE-CONTAINING LIQUID
A manufacturing apparatus for a solidified matter of an ultra-fine bubble (UFB)-containing liquid includes: a UFB generating unit that generates the UFB-containing liquid; and a cooling unit that generates the solidified matter of the UFB-containing liquid by cooling the UFB-containing liquid. The cooling unit cools the ultra-fine bubble-containing liquid such that a first solidified portion and a second solidified portion at a lower ultra-fine bubble concentration than that of the first solidified portion are formed in the solidified matter.
