A bubble counter includes a body. The body is provided with a gas inlet, a gas outlet, a cavity, a water inlet, a water inlet channel, a first check valve and a second check valve. An end of the water inlet channel is connected to the water inlet, and another end of the water inlet channel is connected to the cavity. The first check valve is arranged between the gas inlet and the cavity, and the second check valve is arranged at a connection between the water inlet channel and the cavity. The water inlet channel and the gas outlet are independent from each other. With the bubble counter, it is not required to turn off or disassemble the bubble counter, water can be added at any time and gas leakage can be prevented.

MIXING NOZZLE AND CONTAMINATED GAS PURIFICATION DEVICE USING MIXING NOZZLE

The mixing nozzle has a throat section, a diffuser section, a gas nozzle section, a first liquid suction port, a liquid nozzle section, a second liquid suction port, a baffle plate, and a jetting port. The first liquid suction port liquidly absorbs the solution in the water storage pool from a side of the gas nozzle section toward the gas nozzle tip. The liquid nozzle section extends to the downstream side of the gas nozzle section with intervening the first liquid suction port. The second liquid suction port liquidly absorbs the solution in the water storage pool from a side of the liquid nozzle section toward the liquid nozzle tip. The baffle plate is provided such that the mixed flow mixed in the diffuser section collides in front of a downstream end of the diffuser section, and divides and reverses the mixed flow.

HUMIDIFICATION-DEHUMIDIFICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS AT LOW TOP BRINE TEMPERATURES

Embodiments described generally relate to systems comprising a humidifier (e.g., a bubble column humidifier) and a heating device (e.g. a heat exchanger), and associated methods. In certain embodiments, the heating device heats a first liquid stream comprising a condensable fluid in liquid phase (e.g., water) and a dissolved salt (e.g., NaCl) to a relatively low temperature (e.g., about 90° C. or less) prior to the first liquid stream entering the humidifier through a main humidifier liquid inlet. In some cases, the system comprising the humidifier and the heating device requires only low-grade heat to operate, which may be advantageous due to the low cost and high availability of such heat.

AERATION DEVICE FOR A BIOPROCESSING INSTALLATION

Various embodiments relate to an aeration device for a bioprocessing installation, in particular a bioreactor, comprising a housing, wherein the housing comprises one or more aeration channels in its interior, wherein the housing further comprises one or more gas inlet ports, via each of which a gas can be introduced into at least one aeration channel of the housing, and wherein the housing further comprises a plurality of gas outlet ports, via each of which the gas can be discharged from the respective aeration channel to the outside of the aeration device. It is proposed that the aeration device is configurable with respect to a predetermined discharge of gas via the gas outlet ports.
