PRESSURIZED LIQUID STREAM WITH DISSOLVED GAS
A system and method of injecting a gas enriched and/or emulsified first liquid into a second liquid is disclosed. The injection can cause generation of a high density of bubbles having a mean diameter of a selected size. The mean diameter of the bubbles can be selected and varied based on the characteristics of the injection system.
FOAM MIXING SYSTEM AND METHODS
Foam dispensing systems and methods are disclosed. Such systems and methods may include a foamed material dispenser, a dynamic mixer having a gas input, a process material input, and a foamed material output. The foamed material output may be in fluid communication with the foamed material dispenser. A pump having an output may be in fluid communication with the process material input of the dynamic mixer, and a gas injection valve may be in fluid communication with the gas input of the dynamic mixer. A gas pressure regulator may be coupled between the pressurized gas supply and the gas injection valve, and a gas injection cycle timer may be operatively connected to the gas injection valve, the gas injection cycle timer causing the gas injection valve to pulse open and closed to send pulses of pressurized gas into the dynamic mixer through the gas input.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator having a carbonated water production device, according to one concept of the present invention, comprises: a pressure regulator for adjusting and emitting the pressure of carbon dioxide emitted from a carbon dioxide cylinder; a solenoid switch valve for controlling the supply of the carbon dioxide discharged from the pressure regulator to a carbonated water tank; a connection channel for connecting the pressure regulator and the solenoid switch valve; and a relief valve arranged in the connection channel so as to discharge the carbon dioxide of the connection channel to the atmosphere if the pressure of the carbon dioxide of the connection channel is greater than a predetermined pressure limit. Thus, the pressure of the carbon dioxide of the connection channel is capable of being maintained at a predetermined pressure limit or less, and solenoid malfunction can be prevented so as to improve reliability and stability of a system.
Fuel Enrichment Method and Device
The present invention relates, inter alia, to a process for enriching a hydrocarbon fuel for use in an internal combustion engine, the process comprising: (i) contacting a hydrocarbon fuel with a gas stream containing hydrogen gas such that at least some of the hydrogen gas is introduced into the hydrocarbon fuel to produce an enriched hydrocarbon fuel; and optionally (ii) delivering the enriched hydrocarbon fuel to an internal combustion engine. The present invention further provides a device for use in the process.
Slurry manufacturing apparatus and slurry manufacturing method
A slurry manufacturing apparatus includes a rotation-revolution mixing device which mixes and prepares a slurry by rotational movement and revolving movement and a gas injection mechanism which dissolves carbonic acid gas in the slurry prepared by the rotation-revolution mixing device, in which the gas injection mechanism dissolves the carbonic acid gas in the slurry by injecting the carbonic acid gas under pressure in a sealed state.
Method and apparatus for capturing mixing bar
The invention relates to a method and apparatus for capturing a stir bar in a container. A stir bar may be placed in a container and subjected to a changing magnetic field that causes the stir bar to rotate inside the container. A retaining band or sleeve having metallic or magnetic inserts or materials is placed around a portion of the container so that it is positioned near where the stir bar may be located or might slide past as the contents of the container are poured out of the container. Magnetic attraction between the retaining band or sleeve and the stir bar helps prevent the stir bar from inadvertently being poured out of the container.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPRESSED AIR FOAM FOR FIRE FIGHTING AND FIRE FIGHTING APPARATUS
The application relates to a method for producing compressed air foam for fire-fighting, wherein the method comprises the following steps: supplying a mixture of water and foaming agent via a supply line (12; 22) in a mixing chamber (11; 21) of a foaming line (10; 20), wherein a regulating device (14; 24) is disposed in the supply line (12; 22), by means of which a volume flow of the mixture can be regulated, suppling compressed air via a compressed air line (13; 23) in the mixing chamber (11; 21), wherein a further regulating device (15; 25) is disposed in the compressed air line (13; 23) by means of which a volume flow of the compressed air can be regulated, producing compressed air foam in the mixing chamber (11; 21) by foaming the mixture of water and foaming agent in the mixing chamber (11; 21) by means of the compressed air and discharging the compressed air foam from the foaming line (10; 20) via a mixing pressure regulator (17; 27) which regulates a mixing pressure in the mixing chamber (11; 21) into a delivery line (30; 40), wherein a pressure measuring device (31; 41) is disposed in the delivery line (30; 40), which records a pressure in the delivery line (30; 40) and which, like the regulating device (14; 24) and the further regulating device (15; 25), couples to the control device (26), and wherein the volume flow of the mixture of water and foaming agent and/or the volume flow of the compressed air is regulated by means of the control device (26) depending on the recorded pressure in the delivery line (30; 40). The application further relates to an apparatus for producing compressed air foam for fire-fighting.
