20240207798 · 2024-06-27 ·

An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients are disclosed. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the as collected condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (e.g., mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The preparation sub-system may comprise a slurry recirculation flow loop configured with devices to stir, measure, and adjust a water to solids ratio of the slurry. The object of the claimed invention is a slurry stirring device (8030) comprising an elongated housing (8094) defining a vertical centerline and a stirring chamber, a slurry inlet (8032) configured to receive the slurry, a slurry recirculation inlet (8033a) configured for fluid coupling to a closed slurry recirculation flow loop, and a slurry recirculation outlet (8033b) configured for fluid coupling to the slurry recirculation flow loop; and a rotatable blade mechanism configured to maintain the slurry in an agitated mixed condition in the stirring chamber.

Hot crude gravity drainage (HCGD) for heavy and extra-heavy enhanced oil recovery (EOR)

A continuous process for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) to be used in heavy and extra heavy oil wells, where low and/or non-profitable production rates occur is presented. The process is named Hot Crude Gravity Drainage (HCGD), and HCGD may include different components to support the heating of crude produced in the oil well that is later going to be injected at the same volumes as heated crude. The crude may be injected in the sand from which it was produced, in order to continuously supply the required energy to significantly lower the viscosity, which in turn increases mobility in the pores of the producing sand and allows for an increment (e.g., of more than 100%) in production as regards the base or initial production of the oil well, in a 45 consecutive day period. The process unit may be simple, compact, modular and skid mounted.

COMPUTER-CONTROLLED SINGLE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM FOR GENERATING INDIVIDUALIZED MIXTURES

There is disclosed a computer-controlled dispenser system. The system includes a first set of repositories for fluid components suitable for combination into different mixtures, a second set of repositories for viscous components suitable for combination into different mixtures, and a dispensing nozzle where the fluid and viscous components are dispensed. The system further includes a set of valves and pumps for moving fluid and viscous components to a dispensing nozzle and a scale for measuring an amount of fluid and viscous components dispensed from the dispensing nozzle. The system enables computer control to ensure accurate output of both fluid and viscous components according to the instructions received for their creation.

Device and method for dispensing paste-like or sticky nutritional substance

An elongate device for dispensing a measured quantity of a paste-like resinous nutritional substance for consumption, injection, or topical use has an integral, outwardly directed hook at a first end. In one case, the elongate device is curved along its length from the hook to a second end and has a concave front face and a convex rear face, with a metered end portion on the front face or on both faces extending from the second end and having one or more scale markings for indicating an amount of paste-like substance adhered to the end portion between a scale marking and the second end. The dispensing device may alternatively be used for dissolving a measured quantity of the material in a liquid by engaging the hook over the rim of a container to suspend the device into the container with the metered end portion submerged in liquid in the container.

WRITING APPARATUS AND A METHOD OF DISPENSING WRITING FLUID ON A WRITING SURFACE
20190001736 · 2019-01-03 · ·

The method of present disclosure relates to a writing apparatus for dispensing writing fluid on a writing surface. The writing apparatus comprises a sensor, containers for storing one or more mixing elements, a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The writing apparatus compares the characteristics with predefined characteristics to determine quality of the writing surface. Further, the writing apparatus also determines a quality of the writing fluid suited for the writing surface. Based on the quality of the writing surface and the writing fluid, the writing apparatus modifies at least one property of the writing fluid before dispensing the writing fluid on the writing surface. For modifying the property, the one or more mixing elements are added into the writing fluid. Once the writing fluid is modified, the writing apparatus dispense the writing fluid on the writing surface.

ULTRA HIGH RATIO LIQUID DELIVERY SYSTEM

A liquid dispensing system comprises a container enclosing a chamber. A flexible bag in the chamber contains a first liquid. First and second conduits are contained in the chamber. The first conduit connects the chamber to an outlet port in the container were the second conduit connects the bag to the first conduit. A supply source introduces a pressurized second liquid into the chamber. The first conduit serves to direct an exiting flow of the second liquid from the chamber to the outlet port, with the pressurized second liquid serving to collapse the bag and expel the first liquid contained therein via the second conduit to the first conduit for mixture with the exiting flow of the second liquid. The second conduit lacks flow restrictions, such as metering orifices or the like.

This application includes mixing devices, methods, and systems in which a second fluid can be introduced through a second flow channel to a dispersion member for extrusion through a perforated portion of a dispersion member into a first flow channel for mixing with a first fluid. In some of the present mixing devices, methods, and systems, the second flow channel is substantially perpendicular to the first flow channel, and/or the perforated portion is disposed on a downstream portion of the dispersion member.

System and method for dispensing a food and beverage product

A system for extracting a paste from a flexible pouch having a sealed nozzle includes an inflatable flexible enclosure adjacent to the pouch and an air compressor for controlling airflow into the flexible enclosure. The air compressor provides a first target pressure within the flexible enclosure, the first pressure resulting in a rupture of the sealed nozzle, and a second target pressure within the flexible enclosure. Further, the system includes a timer for measuring a target time for completing the extraction of the paste from the flexible pouch.
