APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF A PLAY, CRAFT AND/OR TOY COMPOUND
There is provided an apparatus and a method for producing a play compound and the play compound itself which, in one embodiment is a compound which sufficiently fluid to be pliable and is typically cold and slimy to the touch. The apparatus and a method provide a powder and liquid to a user, which can be a non-skilled person and thereby allow the mixing of the powder and liquid together by that person to form the play compound outside of a factory environment whilst ensuring that the play compound which is formed has the desired characteristics. Most typically the user which performs the mixing can be the end user, such as a child, who will play with the compound and so the formation of the play compound forms a new part of the play experience.
BONE CEMENT APPLICATOR WITH CLAMPABLE DELIVERY PLUNGER
One aspect relates to a bone cement applicator having a cartridge with an interior, a cartridge head with a delivery opening, a mixing member which is movable in the interior with a mixing rod. A delivery plunger is arranged in the cartridge and is mounted in the interior and is pressable in the direction of the delivery opening. The delivery plunger rests with an outer cylindrical circumferential surface against an inner wall of the cartridge. A clamping element is arranged on the inner wall of the cartridge in the region of a back side of the interior. The clamping element projects out of the inner wall of the cartridge. The cylindrical circumferential surface of the delivery plunger is resiliently deformable by the clamping element in the direction of a central cylinder axis, such that the delivery plunger is clampable in place with the at least one clamping element on the back side of the cartridge.

A method of producing a paste for production of a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery, which includes a negative electrode active material, a thickening agent, and an aqueous binder. The method includes preparing a mixture containing the negative electrode active material and the thickening agent by dry mixing the negative electrode active material and the thickening agent in a powder state under reduced pressure; preparing a paste precursor by adding one or two or more kinds of liquid components selected from an aqueous medium and an emulsion aqueous solution containing the aqueous binder to the mixture and wet mixing the mixture; and preparing the paste for production of a negative electrode by further adding one or two or more kinds of liquid components selected from the aqueous medium and the emulsion aqueous solution containing the aqueous binder to the paste precursor and wet mixing the mixture.
Method and device for producing a conversion product, in particular starch paste
A method for continuously producing a conversion product, in particular starch glue, fried starch, dissolved gelatin or protein glue, wherein a starch-containing and/or protein-containing, preferably powdery starting material, in particular flour, starch powder, cereal grains, coarse cereal meal, gelatin powder or gluten powder, is fed to a mixing chamber (2) and the starting material, preferably powder, descending in the mixing chamber (2) is subjected to a liquid heated to a processing temperature (T.sub.U) of at least 50 C. for converting the starting material into the conversion product, in particular to at least a gelatinization temperature of the starch-containing starting material, a protein-dissolving and/or denaturing temperature of the protein-containing starting material or a frying temperature, in the form of a pressure jet (7) and is thereby conveyed against a baffle (10) preferably formed by an inner wall of the mixing chamber or by an installation in the mixing chamber.

In one example, a solver engine may execute a reverse calculation to determine a recipe ingredient set based on a goal descriptor describing a ceramic glaze. A descriptor interface of the solver engine may receive a goal descriptor describing a ceramic glaze. A model applicator of the solver engine may apply a glaze process model to the goal descriptor. The model applicator may automatically reverse calculate a glaze recipe describing a recipe ingredient set to produce the ceramic glaze described by the goal descriptor. A glaze mixing machine interface may direct a glaze mixing machine to mix the recipe ingredient set to produce the ceramic glaze.
Method of mixing rubber composition and system for mixing rubber composition
A method of mixing a rubber composition includes a carbon introduction step and a uniform dispersion step. In the carbon introduction step, on the basis of a deviation between a rate of temperature increase of the rubber mixture (R) and a target value, at least one of a ram pressure (Pr) and a rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is PID controlled so that the ultimate temperature of the rubber mixture (R) at the conclusion of the step is within a tolerance range. In the uniform dispersion step, the ram pressure (Pr) or the rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is adjusted to reduce a deviation between a value based on successively detected data associated with a predetermined control target and a target value.
