A spray assembly for dispensing a mixture is provided. The spray assembly includes a connector configured for operable engagement with a first and second source of component and a source of pressurized fluid, and a tip operably connected to the connector. The tip includes an opening and defines a mixing chamber between the connector and the opening of the tip, and an insert member configured to be received in the mixing chamber. The insert member includes a plurality of radially extending slots on at least one end of the insert. The plurality of radially extending slots is configured to mix the first and second components prior to the mixture exiting the opening in the tip.

A cartridge for an aerosol-generating system is provided, including a first compartment containing a nicotine source and having a first air inlet and first air outlet, the inlet being upstream of the outlet; a second compartment containing an acid source and having a second air inlet and second air outlet, the inlet being upstream of the outlet; a mixing chamber for mixing nicotine from the nicotine source and acid from the acid source with an air flow to form an aerosol, the mixing chamber being downstream of both the first air outlet and the second air outlet; and a heating element configured to heat the mixing chamber, at least a portion of the heating element being neither upstream nor downstream of the mixing chamber. A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.

A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

A chemistry dispensing assembly for a laundry appliance includes a reservoir that dispenses a laundry chemistry to a treatment chamber. A mixing channel is positioned below the reservoir that receives the laundry chemistry dispensed from the reservoir. A fluid assembly delivers a fluid carrier through a flow path that includes the mixing channel. The mixing channel is defined between an underside of the reservoir and an upper surface of the mixing channel.
