Fine bubble generator
12048907 · 2024-07-30 · ·

A fine bubble generator for generating fine bubbles in a liquid without externally introducing gas. According to an embodiment, a liquid flows in a gap between a first helical part on an inner surface of an outer member having a tubular shape and a second helical part on an outer surface of an inner member in the outer member, so that cavitation occurs because of the decrease in pressure when the liquid flows out of the gap between the first helical part and the second helical part, and fine bubbles are generated in the liquid. In this process, the liquid flowing near the inner surface of the outer member swirls along the first helical part, and the liquid flowing near the outer surface of the inner member swirls along the second helical part, and cavitation is promoted by the swirl flows, and the amount of fine bubbles generated is increased.

Homogenizer for liquid food

A homogenizer for liquid food includes a homogenization device having a gap formed between a seat and a forcer. A pump is configured to provide a pressure for forcing the liquid food through the gap and thereby homogenize the liquid food. The homogenizer includes an accumulator, wherein the pump is connected to the accumulator to accumulate a pressure in the accumulator. A cylinder arrangement is connected to the accumulator and to the homogenization device. The cylinder arrangement includes a piston that is configured to push a volume of the liquid food through the gap. A valve is arranged to release pressure accumulated in the accumulator, such that the released pressure actuates the piston to push the volume of the liquid food through the gap.

A stirrer is capable of finely dispersing or emulsifying well. A stirrer in which: the stirrer is provided with a rotating rotor equipped with multiple blades and a screen that is placed around the rotor and has multiple slits; the blade and the slits are provided at least with matching regions that are at the same position in the axial direction of the rotor rotation axis; and the fluid being processed is discharged outward from inside the screen as an intermittent jet flow through the slits as a result of the rotation of the rotor. The stirrer is characterized in that when the maximum external diameter of the rotor in the matching region is (D) (m), the rotation frequency of the rotor (2) is (N) (times/s), the number (12) is (X) and the number of slits (8) is (Y), the circumferential velocity (V) (m/s) of the rotor (2) rotation is represented by equation (1) and the frequency (Z) (kHz) of the intermittent jet flow is represented by equation (2)(V)=(D)()(N)(1)(Z)=(N)(X)(Y)/1000(2) and the circumferential velocity (V) is set to be 23 m/s<(V)<37 m/s and the frequency (Z) is set to be 35<(Z).

Microdroplet/bubble-producing device

The invention provides a microdroplet- or bubble-producing device that does not require separate through-holes for different liquid droplet/air bubble-producing flow channels. The droplet-producing flow channels are configured in a three-dimensional manner unlike in a conventional device where they are configured in a two-dimensional plane, and therefore the flow channels can be provided in a more high-density configuration than the prior art. In the microdroplet/bubble-producing device comprising slit(s) and the row of the plurality of microflow channels, the slit(s) is/are a continuous phase supply slit, a dispersion phase supply slit and a discharge slit, the plurality of microflow channels are configured so that the ends of the slit(s) and the two supply ports on both sides or the supply port and discharge port on either side are mutually connected, and at the sites of connection between the microflow channels and the slit(s), the dispersion phase undergoes shear with the continuous phase flow as the driving force, producing droplets or air bubbles of the dispersion phase, which are recovered from the discharge port.
