SEPARATION DEVICE WITH TWO-STAGE GAS-LIQUID MIXTURE AND CONICAL SPIRAL FIELDS
A separation device with two-stage gas-liquid mixture and conical spiral fields is provided. A first-stage uniform mixer performs first-stage gas-liquid crushing and uniform mixing process by an outer micropore ceramic pipe, a middle micropore ceramic pipe and an inner micropore ceramic pipe and crushes large bubbles in the gas-liquid two-phase flow into small bubbles. A second-stage uniform mixer performs second-stage gas-liquid crushing and uniform mixing process. A whirlpool-making gas collector adjusts the gas-liquid uniform mixing flow obtained after two-stage gas-liquid uniform mixing into hollow-core type high-speed two-phase spiral flow. A conical degasser performs gas-liquid efficient separation operation in a high-speed conical spiral field. A two-stage uniform mixing control system and a gas-liquid separation control system automatically regulate and control the flow and the flow pressure of the gas-liquid two-phase flow, the gas-liquid uniform mixing flow and degassed gas flow and degassed liquid flow.
Dispensing assembly including an additive mixing device
A dispensing system (2000), includes a container (900) containing a flowable base formulation (910) to be dispensed, an additive mixing device (2004), and an actuable pump engine (2002) which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body (2022) with an internal cavity (2052), an additive ingredient (2054) within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber (2058) between an input and an output. With each pump of the device (2004) the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices (2004) may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.
MIXING DEVICE FOR COSMETICS
The invention relates to a mixing device for mixing one or more cosmetic preparations in a dispenser with a dispensing opening (8). The mixing device comprises at least two mixing plates (1) which comprise one or more passages (2), the diameter thereof tapering in direction of the dispensing opening.
BIOPOLYMER PARTICLE PREPARATION
The present disclosure provides a method for preparing biopolymer particles, said method comprising a membrane emulsification of a dispersed phase into a continuous phase wherein the dispersed phase comprises the biopolymer in a solvent, and wherein passing the dispersed phase through the membrane forms an emulsion of the biopolymer in the continuous phase; and a phase inversion with an anti-solvent to form particles of the biopolymer; wherein prior to (b), the emulsion is cooled to a temperature, T1. Also provided are biopolymer particles obtained from the method.
Insert assembly for foaming device
An insert assembly for a foam generating device includes a first insert and a second insert with a channel defined therethrough. Inserts may be formed by two shell halves that are coupleable to one another to define the channel. A plurality of ribs extends along an interior surface of the channel. Pad structures defined by porous media are provided in the channel and gripped by the plurality of ribs. The pads receive cleaning solution passing through the channel and cause foam to be generated by breaking-up the cleaning solution and agitating. The ribs may be arranged horizontally relative to a longitudinal axis of the insert assembly and retain the pads within the device. Inserts may be arranged in series along a longitudinal axis of the foam generating device with the pad structures arranged within the channel.
Stirrer
A stirrer is provided that can more efficiently achieve shearing applied, by an action of an intermittent jet flow, to a fluid to be processed. The stirrer concentrically includes a rotor including a blade, a partition wall, and a screen, wherein: the screen includes a plurality of slits in a circumferential direction thereof and screen members located between the adjacent slit; by rotating at least the rotor of the two components, the fluid to be processed is discharged from the inside to the outside of the screen as the intermittent jet flow through the slit of the screen; the screen has a cylindrical shape having a circular cross section; an opening of the slit provided on the inner wall surface of the screen is used as an inflow opening; openings of the plurality of slits provided on the outer wall surface of the screen are used as outflow openings; and the width of the outflow openings in the circumferential direction is set to be smaller than the width of the inflow opening in the circumferential direction.
PRE-FILLED CONTAINER, METHOD OF USE AND RELATED PRODUCTION METHOD
This invention relates to a container (1) which is pre-filled or pre-fillable with one or more substances, such as a medical liquid and similar, comprising a squeezable activation compartment (2) intended to contain said one or more substances, a dispensing compartment (3) including a first portion (31) equipped with at least one dispensing member (311, 312, 314) of said one or more substances, and a second portion (32), wherein said second portion (32) of said dispensing compartment (3) and said activation compartment (2) are fluid-dynamically connected, and an activator element (4) arranged inside said container (1).
This invention also relates to a method for dispensing at least one substance by means of a container (1), and to a production method of a container (1).
Method and apparatus for reducing liquid pressure
A method of reducing the pressure of a liquid includes the steps of providing a conduit containing a packing material, such that a large number of small passages are formed in the packing material, and passing the liquid through the conduit and the packing material. The amount of packing material through which the liquid flows can be varied to vary the pressure drop experienced by the liquid passing through the packing material. The reduction in pressure achieved may be stepwise (discrete) or continuous. The method may be used to reduce the pressure of an aqueous polymer solution for use in a polymer flood technique for oil extraction, and allows the pressure to be reduced without damage to the polymer.
