Method and system for interacting with a virtual environment
A system for providing a more personalized virtual environment for a user, the system including one or more sensing devices that detect one or more physical, physiological, or biological parameters of the user and transmit the same to a game console or virtual reality controller that produces the virtual environment. The game console or virtual reality controller can analyze the sensor data and adjust one or more aspects of the virtual environment as a function of the sensor data. For example, the difficulty level or scariness level of a game can be decreased if the heart rate of the user exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Behavior shaping using a construction toy
A method includes acquiring individual assessment data that includes behavior from player of a construction toy. The construction toy includes at least one sensor to detect an activity of the player with the construction toy. The method further includes determining a goal for the player based on the individual assessment data and a set of group assessment data. The method also includes providing a teaching based on the goal. The method includes permitting the player to play with the construction toy with reduced monitoring or intervention by the processing device during a free play period. The method further includes in response to a determination that free play period is over, prompting the player to perform an activity based on the goal. The method also includes in response to a determination that the player has completed the activity, providing a first reinforcement message to the player.
Tailoring social elements of virtual environments
Techniques are disclosed for providing a social platform for a user. In one embodiment, activity of the user is monitored in a virtual environment. A profile is generated for the user, based on the monitored activity. A social element of the virtual environment is modified for the user, based on the generated profile.

Information processing system and information processing method
An information processing method is disclosed. In one embodiment, a game space of a positional information game is controlled, a plurality of user terminals executing the positional information game to access the game space based on locations of the user terminals in a real space. Information of human activities regarding regions in the real space is obtained, the regions including at least a first region and a second region neighboring the first region. Whether the first region is unsafe is determined based on the obtained information of human activities. Responsive to the first region being determined as unsafe, a game content accessible at a virtual location in the game space that is associated with the second region is recognized, and the game users are notified of presence of the game content in the virtual location in the game space that is associated with the second region.
Urinal gaming system
A gaming system installable in a urinal or toilet in which a removably attached pressure and location sensor assembly can be wirelessly coupled to a data server. The data server can include a user interface allowing the user to initiate a gaming session, such as through a touch screen monitor positioned above or nearby the urinal. The data server can collect and store data from the pressure and location sensor. The data server can be coupled to a plurality of touch screen monitors and pressure and location sensor assemblies for providing a multi-user gaming environment. Collected and processed data can be presented in real time on the touch screen monitors and can be stored in a database.
