Mixing Tank Steady Bushing
20200061561 · 2020-02-27 ·

A sanitary mixing tank steady bearing is replaceable without lifting a mixing tank shaft. The steady bearing is insertable into and removable from the bottom of a bearing support attached inside the base of the sanitary mixing tank. The steady bearing may thus be replaced by a service technician working through a man way/man hole on the top of the tank allowing service without lifting the mixing tank shaft. Gaps are provided between the bearing support and steady bearing allowing flushing material from around the steady bearing to easily maintain a sanitary environment.

Vertical shaft high-shear mixer for de-agglomeration, and associated methods and systems

Disclosed is a deagglomeration apparatus, to improve the quality of a mixture used for the production of concrete blocks. An illustrative embodiment of the deagglomerator comprises a vertical shaft high-shear mixer, wherein a rotational force (hydraulic or electric) is mounted to a vertical shaft onto which are mounted chains and/or knives, housed within a flexible rubber boot or tube. The deagglomerator is configured to be controllably powered, to rotate the shaft and the attached tools. Partially mixed formula is introduced to a top region of the deagglomerator, and falls downwardly past the rotating tools wherein the formula is pulverized and mixed, before exiting the lower area of the mixing region.

According to an embodiment, the bearingless hydraulic rotary stirring water distributor includes a rotary inlet pipe, stirring pipes, water distribution pipes, a ball head shaft, a fixed inlet pipe, a bowl seat, a first seal ring, and a second seal ring. The stirring water distributor is vertically mounted, the fixed inlet pipe is vertically arranged and inserted into the rotary inlet pipe, the fixed inlet pipe and the rotary inlet pipe are mechanically sealed through the seal rings therebetween, the rotary inlet pipe is a vertically mounted pipe, and the rotary inlet pipe is vertically mounted in a semispherical groove of the bowl seat through the ball head shaft mounted at one end of the rotary inlet pipe.

CONICAL MIXER
20200001255 · 2020-01-02 ·

A conical mixer with two conical bodies that are sloped downward toward a discharge opening on a bottom, middle portion of the conical mixer. The conical mixer has a horizontally placed agitator axle with a plurality of agitator arms extending from the agitator axle. At least one paddle is attached to each agitator arms. As the agitator arms get closer to the middle, the length of the arms is increased. The conical mixer ensures proper mixing of the contents as well as using the slope of the conical bodies to assist in pushing the contents toward the discharge opening.

METHOD FOR STERILIZING AN ASSEMBLY COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SINGLE-USE DEVICE FOR BIOPHARMACEUTICAL FLUID

A method for sterilizing by X-rays an assembly containing a single-use device intended to receive a biopharmaceutical fluid, comprising: placing a plurality of dosimeters, repeatedly passing the assembly in front of the X-ray radiation window, according to a first face then according to a second face of the assembly, at several irradiation power-time pairs (PTi), followed by mapping the radiation dose; and determining an optimum power-time pair (PTopt) for which the mapping reveals that all dosimeters have recorded a radiation dose above a minimum sterility dose (Dmin), and for which the dosimeter associated with a fragile element of the single-use device records a radiation dose below a maximum dose (Dmax) defined as being the dose from which the X-ray irradiation deteriorates the fragile element.

A beverage stirring assembly for selectively stirring a liquid in a container includes a container that may contain a liquid. A stirring unit is removably coupled to the container and the stirring unit is selectively manipulated. The stirring unit stirs the liquid when the stirring unit is manipulated. Moreover, the stirring unit is selectively removed from the container thereby facilitating an interior of the container to be washed.

POLYMER FINE PARTICLES MANUFACTURING METHOD

A method for manufacturing polymer fine particles having a narrow particle diameter distribution without any particular limitations on the raw materials and the like. To achieve this purpose, this method for manufacturing polymer fine particles includes polymerizing a vinyl monomer using a dispersion polymerization method, wherein the amount of water in the reaction liquid in the polymerizing is no more than 30,000 ppm, the reactor for carrying out the polymerizing is a stirring tank reactor, the stirring blade attached to the stirring rotation shaft of the stirring tank reactor is one type selected from a large wide blade and a large lattice blade, and the tip speed of the stirring blade is no more than 1.0 m/sec.
