MIXER BASE ASSEMBLY FOR MIXING VESSELS AND METHOD OF USE
A mixer base assembly for use with a mixing vessel, and a method of using the mixer base assembly, are disclosed.
MIXER BASE ASSEMBLY FOR MIXING VESSELS AND METHOD OF USE
A mixer base assembly for use with a mixing vessel, and a method of using the mixer base assembly, are disclosed.
FROTHING DEVICE
A novel device for frothing milk is disclosed. The frothing device preferably includes a rotatable impeller and a screen disposed about the bottom of the impeller downstream of milk being pushed by the impeller. The frothing device may further include a pitcher and a base upon which the pitcher sits wherein the base includes a heater. The pitcher includes a magnetic drive capable of turning the impeller at very high speeds. The impeller is positioned off-center within the pitcher that preferably includes a tapered interior. The structure of the device and programs that adjust the speed of rotation of the impeller permit the user to create bubbles and further break the bubbles down into a silky smooth microfoam without the conventional use of a steam wand or other such device and without the skills of a professional barista.
Disposable container and mixing system comprising the container
The present invention relates to a disposable container comprising a side wall, top and bottom, wherein the side wall and the bottom comprise a flexible material, wherein the side wall, top and bottom are joined together to define the container with an interior compartment for keeping a fluid inside the container. The bottom of the container comprises at least one portion of rigid or semi-rigid material comprising a folding means that enables folding of the bottom. Thus an easy way of folding the bottom of the container is provided.
Wine Decanter
A decanting vessel has an internal pump for recirculating a beverage such as wine and aerating it within the decanter.
DEVICE FOR CIRCULATING STORED DRINKING WATER WITH VORTEX CIRCULATION
A device for storing and circulating drinking water with vortex flow includes a base, a tank and an actuator housed in the base and configured to circulate the drinking water stored in the tank with vortex flow. The base includes an inlet port through which the drinking water is received and an outlet port through which the drinking water is dispensed. The tank is mounted on the base with a sealed engagement and is configured to store the drinking water. The tank has spherical or egg shape and includes an air inlet on an upper portion of the tank through which air can flow in and out of the tank.
Electromagnetic rotary drive
An electromagnetic rotary drive includes a magnetically contactlessly drivable rotor free of coils, and a stator configured as a bearing and drive stator configured to drive the rotor magnetically and contactlessly about an axis of rotation. The rotor is capable of being supported magnetically contactlessly with respect to the stator in an operating state. The stator includes an upper stator part having a plurality of pronounced upper poles configured to carry upper windings and a lower stator part having a plurality of pronounced lower poles configured to carry lower windings. The upper stator part and the lower stator part are arranged spaced apart from one another with respect to an axial direction. A permanent magnet is disposed between the upper stator part and the lower stator part.
Mixing apparatus and single-use apparatus for a mixing apparatus
A mixing apparatus for mixing substances includes a single-use apparatus and a reusable apparatus. The single-use apparatus includes a flexible mixing tank configured to receive the at least two substances to be mixed, is plastic, and has a rotor arranged in the mixing tank. The rotor includes an impeller configured to mix the at least two substances, the impeller being magnetically contactlessly drivable and free of coils and permanent magnets. The reusable apparatus includes a support tank configured to receive the mixing tank and a stator configured to magnetically contactlessly drive the rotor about an axis of rotation in an operating state. The stator includes at least one permanent magnet configured to generate a permanent magnet flux and at least one winding configured to generate an electromagnetic flux, the permanent magnet flux and the electromagnetic flux together being capable of driving the rotor.
Flexible film in single use bioreactor
A container, such as a disposable or single use bioreactor, optionally having one or more inlets and one or more outlets and a mixer associated with the container to cause mixing, dispersing, homogenizing and/or circulation of one or more ingredients contained or added to the container. The container includes a flexible baffle shaped and positioned within the container to improve mixing, particularly to improve low shear mixing. The baffle is positioned within the container so as to disrupt the vortex formed by the mixer, or prevent formation of a vortex. The baffle is shaped with both horizontal and vertical elements to enhance disruption of the vortex across the entire vessel height and provide homogeneous mixing throughout all operating volumes. In certain embodiments, the baffle is X-shaped.
Electromagnetic rotary drive and rotational device
An electromagnetic rotary drive includes a contactlessly magnetically drivable rotor that is coil-free and free of permanent magnets and that includes a magnetically effective core, and a stator by which the rotor is contactlessly magnetically drivable about a desired axis of rotation in the operating state. The stator has a plurality of coil cores of which each includes a bar-shaped longitudinal limb extending from a first end in a direction in parallel with the desired axis of rotation up to a second end, all the first ends being connected by a reflux of windings generate an electromagnetic rotational field of which each surrounds one of the longitudinal limbs. The coil cores include a plurality of permanent magnets by which a permanent magnetic pre-magnetization flux can be generated.
