The present disclosure relates to devices and methods for analyzing hair and/or predicting an outcome of hair-coloring treatment. disclosed is method of predicting a result of a hair-color-modifying treatment on a sample of hair, the method comprising: a. for each given region of a plurality of distinct regions, respectively measuring a region-specific spectrum of respective material of the hair-sample respectively disposed within the given region; and b. computing first and second predicted post-treatment spectra respectively from first and second initial spectra by respectively predicting a transformation of the first and second initial spectra following subjecting the sample of hair to the hair-color-modifying treatment, the first and second initial spectra being distinct and (i) derived from the plurality of measured region-specific spectra and/or (ii) corresponding to first and second of the measured region-specific spectra.

An apparatus is provided for dispensing a cosmetic composition, including: a cartridge holder configured to hold at least one cartridge that stores a cosmetic composition, the cartridge holder being configured to move the cartridge to a predetermined location; a container receiving area configured to hold a output container beneath the predetermined location; circuitry configured to determine the cosmetic composition in the cartridge holder, control the cartridge holder to move the cartridge holder to the predetermined location based on the determination, and control the cartridge to dispense the cosmetic composition into the output container; and a mixer configured to hold the output container and subject the output container to a predetermined movement to cause contents of the output container to mix together.

A system and method is provided for providing a cosmetic composition to a user. The system includes an apparatus configured to dispense at least one cosmetic composition into a output container; a user interface configured to receive information about the user; and circuitry configured to receive the information about the user and determine one or more cosmetic compositions to be dispensed into the output container based on the information about the user received at the user interface.

A generative scent design system has a frame, an input receiver, an input processor, a dispenser, a container, and a filling platform. The dispenser has a dosing station and a storage compartment. The dosing station and the filling platform are attached to the frame. The dosing station has a plurality of pumps. The heating system regulates its associated pump's temperature. The storage compartment has scent vessels that contain a respective scent. Each pump with an inlet and an outlet is associated with a respective heating system and respective scent; in fluid communication through the inlet with the scent vessel containing the respective scent; and configured to dispense its respective scent through the outlet. The container is movably positioned on the filling platform to receive the respective scent from each pump. The input receiver receives data. The input processor calculates the data to determine a formulation of respective scents.

A generative scent design system has a frame, an input receiver, an input processor, a dispenser, a container, and a filling platform. The dispenser has a dosing station and a storage compartment. The dosing station and the filling platform are attached to the frame. The dosing station has a plurality of pumps. The heating system regulates its associated pump's temperature. The storage compartment has scent vessels that contain a respective scent. Each pump with an inlet and an outlet is associated with a respective heating system and respective scent; in fluid communication through the inlet with the scent vessel containing the respective scent; and configured to dispense its respective scent through the outlet. The container is movably positioned on the filling platform to receive the respective scent from each pump. The input receiver receives data. The input processor calculates the data to determine a formulation of respective scents.

A paint production system produced from pigment pastes and vehicles without prior adjustment. The system includes a volumetric dosing module endowed with automatic volumetric calibrators, at least one continuous processing module that includes a rotary mechanism that moves at least one tank between a mixing station, a continuous adjustment station integrated into a filling station, a cleaning station jointly with a manifold cleaning solvent mist generator and a control center that sends commands to be executed in the volumetric dosing module and continuous processing module units from a set of instructions in a computer program.

Apparatus for the delivery of fluid products comprising a base, a base support associated thereof, a plurality of dispensing units to dispense the fluid products contained in containing receptacles. The dispensing units are disposed on a platform rotatable with respect to the base support so as to assume at least a first position in which the fluid products can be delivered from the receptacles toward a container. The apparatus also comprises sliding means which allow the rotation of the platform. Rapid connection means are provided so as to achieve the connection of the base support with the base and/or with the sliding means in order to achieve a selective stable coupling and to prevent a reciprocal vertical movement.

An automated system associates an agitator with a respective container for containing fluid, such as paint. The system includes a plurality of agitators; a storage area where the plurality of agitators are arranged; a moving device for moving the agitators at least between the storage area and the container; and a control system for controlling and coordinating the operations of the system. The agitators include a locking mechanism for removably fixing the agitator to the respective container.

The system for making suspensions includes a housing, with a platform mounted therein and a translating table slidably mounted on the platform for removably supporting a receptacle. A base fluid tank stores a base fluid, and a solid particle container stores solid particles. A rotating dispenser system is mounted within the housing, above the platform and the receptacle. The rotating dispenser includes a base fluid dispenser for dispensing a controlled mass of the base fluid into the receptacle, and a solid particle dispenser for dispensing a controlled mass of the solid particles into the receptacle. The base fluid dispenser is in communication with the base fluid tank, and the solid particle dispenser is in communication with the solid particle container. A mixer selectively and controllably mixes the controlled mass of the base fluid and the controlled mass of the solid particles in the receptacle to form the suspension.
