Blending Liquids
An apparatus for blending liquids, comprising a main body (100) comprising a seating (106) configured to receive a receptacle (200); a support (140) carried by the main body and having a plurality of slots (142, 142), the support being configured to receive a plurality of cartridges (300, 300), each slot (142, 142) of the plurality of slots being configured to receive a cartridge (300, 300) of the plurality of cartridges; a first actuator configured to move one of the support and the seating relative to the other, thereby enabling positioning of any one slot of the plurality of slots in correspondence of the seating; a second actuator (120) configured to act upon a cartridge (300) placed in the slot (142) currently positioned in correspondence of the seating; and a control unit (150) connected to the first and second actuators. The control unit is configured to receive a data set indicative of a sequence of one or more liquids and, for each of the one or more liquids, an associated quantity of liquid; and for each respective liquid of the sequence of one or more liquids to control the first actuator to move the support or the seating relatively to the other such that the slot holding a respective cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is positioned in correspondence of the seating, the respective cartridge containing the respective liquid of the sequence of one or more liquids; and to control the second actuator to act upon the respective cartridge to cause transfer of a respective quantity of liquid from the respective cartridge into a receptacle positioned in the seating, the respective quantity corresponding to the associated quantity of liquid. A process for blending liquids is also provided.
Intelligent blending system
A blending system includes a blender base and a container. The blender base includes a housing that houses a motor. The container is attachable to the blender base. The blending system includes a user device that communicates with the blender base. The user device may communicate with a remote computing device. The user device generates instructions and recipes for the blender base.

An apparatus for dispensing a plurality of liquids, in particular colorants for paints, comprising a support, such as a turntable or a linear table, defining a plurality of positions and a plurality of containers holding a liquid, mounted on the support at the positions, and provided with a pump and/or a valve for dispensing the liquid from the container. At least some of the containers form, together with a respective liquid and pump and/or valve, a cartridge, which cartridge is releasably mounted in the apparatus.

A method, system and apparatus for delivery of custom blended dispensing custom blended personal care beauty products for a beauty service, wherein one or more components of a beauty product are stored where they may be supplied as needed to a dispenser, and where a control mechanism regulates the dosage of beauty components to provide a desired selected personal care beauty product with the characteristics selected. A selection screen display provides an image of a person and the person's hair that may be manipulated to simulate modifications that may include cut or styling and color or other effects. The selections are processed and stored and a formula is generated and communicating to a dispensing device to deliver the product components to produce the formula.

Compounder apparatus
A system including a containment assembly for enclosing a medication container may comprise a first housing portion or interface portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The interface portion may include a housing wall which defines a channel spanning from the proximal end to the distal end. The channel may be open at the proximal and distal end. The containment assembly may further comprise only two pierceable septa configured to form a barrier to the channel. The containment assembly may further comprise a variable-volume housing portion having a variable volume chamber. The variable-volume portion chamber of the variable-volume housing portion may be in fluid communication with the distal end of the channel.
COLOR CONVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture to a new product brand; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture using one or more ingredients of the new product brand, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
AUTOMATED CUSTOMIZED COSMETIC DISPENSER
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for the creation and dispensing of a custom formulation within a package at a retail point of sale. In one aspect, the invention includes an automated dispensing apparatus including at least a two-axis robot arm. In another aspect, the invention includes an automated mixer adapted to mix the dispensed custom formulation within the package.
BLENDING STATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
A blending method is described for preparing a blended mixture. The blending method for preparing a blended mixture, the method includes: providing a control system having at least a processor, a computer-readable memory, and a display, wherein the memory contains software configured to receive a formula defining instructions for preparing a blended mixture using one or more blending materials and amounts for producing a batch size of the blended mixture on a scale; monitoring a weight on the scale as blending materials are added to a receptacle on the scale, both individually and in total; indicating on the display the amounts of the blending materials that have been added to the scale, both individually and in total, to prepare an amount of a custom blended mixture based upon the selected blending materials; determining an end weight of the custom blended mixture after a user has used the custom blended mixture; and recalculating a needed amount of the custom blended mixture by subtracting the end weight of the custom blended mixture from the prepared amount of the custom blended mixture.
HAIR COLORING APPLIANCE
The system includes a hair color packet assembly having one hair color packet and one developer packet and a pump assembly for moving the hair coloring material and developer material to a mixing assembly which mixes the color and the developer and delivers it to a brushhead/distributor, which has openings through which the selected hair color formulation is delivered. The brushhead/distributor is mountable in a handle having a motor which drives the brushhead/distributor in a linear oscillating manner.
