Portable custom cosmetic pigment dispenser
A portable custom cosmetic pigment dispenser creates a cosmetic pigment mixture that closely matches a person's skin color. The device is constructed with an RGB sensor at one end that scans the skin and records it in the RGB color space. A processor converts the RGB information into a CYMK+W color space. In an embodiment, a user is presented with a sample of the color as determined by the processor, and has an opportunity to accept or modify the color. Specific quantities of colored pigment are selected based on the corresponding weightings in the CYMK+W space.

The computer-implemented control method also comprises displaying a graphic representation of the layout of the dispensing machine with the dispensing zone (15) and the storage zone(s) (28), which respectively reflects the disposition of the sub-assembly of containing units (111) disposed in the dispensing zone (115) and in the storage zone(s) (128), and graphically highlighting, in the graphic representation, at least the sub-assembly of containing units (11) from which the selected target formulation is to be produced by means of signaling means so as to facilitate their identification by the user and thus provide guidance to the user for displacing of one or more than one containing unit(s) (111) from the storage zone(s) (128) to the dispensing zone (115), or vice versa, if required for the production of the target formulation.
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUNDING DEVICE FOR INTRAVENOUS CHEMOTHERAPY
A pharmaceutical compounding device is for preparing intravenous medicaments used in chemotherapy. The device includes a compounding area with a robotic compounder, a sash window for closing the compounding area during operation of the device, and a sash window sensor system for detecting the open/closed status of the sash window. A pre and/or post-processor is arranged in the device and/or in a separate station. A controller has a security circuit for preventing opening of the sash window when the robotic compounder is performing a compounding operation and the sash window is closed. The controller has a first control circuit for the compounding area and a second control circuit for the pre- and/or post-processor area. The control circuits can be used independently to perform operations in parallel. The security circuit only acts on the first control circuit.
PORTABLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADJUSTING THE COMPOSITION OF A BEVERAGE
A beverage apparatus, the beverage apparatus being hand-holdable by a user of the beverage apparatus to be portable, can include a beverage chamber housing that includes a chamber for storing a consumable liquid. The beverage apparatus can include a dispensing assembly that includes a receptacle. The receptacle can retain a vessel. The vessel can include an electronic tag and can contain an additive. The dispensing assembly can be operatively controllable by a controller to output the additive from the vessel into the consumable liquid. The beverage apparatus can include one or more sensors, devices, or assemblies that can be used to detect a volume of liquid in the chamber or a liquid level in the chamber. The beverage apparatus can include an apparatus processing portion (ACP) and an apparatus database portion. The beverage apparatus of the disclosure can include various additional features.
Methods and Systems for Composition Compounding
Systems and methods that implement a GUI functional block that allows a user to specify a compounding formula for a composition, an ingredient validation functional block configured for receiving a code on a container holding a first ingredient, consulting a database to derive a formulation ingredient to be used in preparing the composition, determining if the first ingredient matches the formulation ingredient, a planetary mixer control functional block configured for consulting the database arrangement at least partly on a basis of the specified compounding formula to determine mixing parameters for a planetary mixer that are associated with the specified compounding formula, causing a motor assembly of the planetary mixer to apply superimposed rotation and revolution movements to a container in accordance with the mixing parameters determined from the consulting, preventing operation of the motor assembly if the determining step fails to match the first ingredient to the formulation ingredient.
Blending station apparatus and method for using the same
A blending system and method are described for preparing a blended mixture. The blending system includes a control system having at least a processor, and a computer-readable memory, wherein the memory contains software configured to receive a formula defining instructions for preparing a blended mixture.
