System and Method for Mixing Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids into a Fluid Food Product

A method for producing a mixture of oil and fluid food product includes placing a funnel into a pressure tank such that a stem of the funnel extends at least halfway down into the pressure tank. The pressure tank is flushed with nitrogen. Oil flows into the pressure tank through the funnel. A flow of nitrogen into the pressure tank is maintained through a side inlet of the pressure tank. Oil is dispensed from a pressure tank into the transfer line flowing a flow of fluid food product from a batch tank. The dispensed oil is dispersed into the flow of fluid food product in a inline shear mixer creating oil-in-fluid food product droplets. The oil-in-fluid food product droplets flow to the batch tank with the flow of fluid food product. The oil-in-fluid food product droplets are distributed in a volume of fluid food product in the batch tank.

EPOXY APPLICATOR NOZZLE FLUSH ADAPTOR AND METHOD

A nozzle flush adapter includes an externally threaded coupler configured to threadably engage and secure a mixer nozzle in a fluid tight coupling together with a hose receiving coupler having an internal thread configured to engage and secure the threaded end of a conventional water hose in a fluid tight coupling. The nozzle flush adapter facilitates cleaning and reuse of normally disposable mixer nozzles exposed to two-component epoxy adhesives and the like by allowing the user to exercise a method whereby the user is able to flush water under pressure through the mixer nozzle before the material has cured.

System and Method for Mixing Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids into a Fluid Food Product

An apparatus for distributing oil into fluid food product includes a batch tank, a transfer line, a pressure tank, a funnel, an oil dispenser, an inline shear mixer, and a flow line. The batch tank holds a volume of fluid food product. The transfer line is in fluid connection with the batch tank. The pressure tank holds a volume of oil. The funnel is disposed through a top opening in the pressure tank and dispenses oil into the pressure tank. A stem portion of the funnel extends at least halfway into an interior of the pressure tank. The funnel includes at least one vent. The oil dispenser dispenses oil from the pressure tank into a flow of fluid food product from the batch tank. The inline shear mixer mixes the fluid food product and the oil. The flow line flows the fluid food product-and-oil mixture to the batch tank.

Impregnation apparatus and impregnation method

An impregnation apparatus for impregnating a material in a combined medicament. The impregnation apparatus includes a delivery device, a dispensing device, a transmission device, a scraper device, and an impregnation execution device. The combined medicament is poured into a receiving unit by the dispensing device. The scraper device includes a scraper moving unit and a scraper structure arranged on the scraper moving unit. The scraper moving unit drives the scraper structure, leveling the combined medicament in the receiving unit. The impregnation execution device includes a carrying unit and a carrier moving unit. The material is disposed in the carrying unit and is impregnated into the receiving unit carrying the combined medicament by moving the carrying unit. The instant disclosure further provides an impregnation method.

Concrete Mixer Truck Cleaning System

A cleaning system is disclosed for cleaning concrete residue from a concrete mixer truck. The cleaning system may include a water delivery system having one or more conduits configured to deliver pressurized water to one or more spray headers positioned at various back-end portions of the truck. The cleaning system further includes one or more valves configured to control the flow of pressurized water through the one or more conduits to the one or more spray headers. In various embodiments, the one or more valves are manually operable to control the release of water to the spray headers. In other embodiments, the one or more valves are controlled by a computing device through an electrical coupling such as a communication bus. The cleaning system may be configured to clean different portions of the truck using different sets of spray headers at different times as part of a washing protocol.

Blender

A blender has a mixing chamber for reception of materials to be blended. A mixing screw is mounted at a bottom of the mixing chamber for mixing materials within the mixing chamber and delivering mixed materials to an outlet feeding a processing line. Heaters are mounted within the mixing chamber for drying blend material in the mixing chamber.

FROTHING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

An automated frothing assembly. The automated frothing assembly has a wand module that includes an elongate member having an inlet, one or more outlets, and a fluid passageway extending between and in fluid communication with the inlet and the plurality of outlets. At least one of the one or more outlets extends parallel to a vertical plane that includes the centerline of the elongate member and at an acute angle relative to a horizontal plane that is perpendicular to both the vertical plane and the centerline of the elongate member. The assembly further includes an actuator configured to be operatively coupled to the wand module and to drive the movement of at least a portion of the wand module along an axis, and an electronic controller configured to be electrically coupled to the actuator and to control the operation of the actuator to control the movement of the wand module.

MODULAR BLENDER WITH IMPROVED WATER HEATING AND LIGHT BEAM DETECTION

An easily assembled blender with an internal frame holding a cupholder elevator assembly, a mix motor assembly, a food preparation chamber, a water heater assembly and a steamer assembly. The water heater and steamer assemblies are preferably on modular trays that slide into the internal frame. The water heater preferably also serves as a hot water reservoir and, to avoid overheating, has its heating coil located near its bottom. To resist scale deposits, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tubing is preferably used to transport steam from the steamer to the food preparation chamber. To expedite manufacture, a spring-biased idler assembly with a drive belt for the cupholder elevator assembly preferably snaps into a lower receiving port on the internal frame. Crisscrossing infrared light beams are preferably placed at the entrance of the food preparation chamber to detect whether the cup entering the chamber is the correct size and detect whether any foreign object is below the food preparation chamber.
