Proportionate automated blending system for aqueous mixtures
A proportionate automated blending system for aqueous mixtures has a plurality of liquid additive control modules which each provide a desired amount of additive to a dedicated mixing injector to blend each additive with water to provide a precise mixture of additive and water. The system has the capability, in between blending cycles, of purging the components of the additive control modules with air and water to displace any residue additive which may remain in the control module. The system is controlled by a controller which controls an actuated control valve to achieve the desired flow rate of liquid additive to acquire the desired proportion of liquid additive to water.
Blending container for use with blending apparatus
A container includes a body including a lip portion, a base portion, and a wall structure extending between the lip portion and the base portion. The wall structure and the base portion define a cavity. The lip portion extends outwards from the wall structure. The body is configured to be received in a container receptacle defined within a container platform of a blending apparatus when the container platform is in a first position. The lip portion includes one or more engagement features to sealingly engage with a corresponding engagement feature of a blade assembly of the blending apparatus, restrict rotation of the container during rotation of blades of the blade assembly, and restrict translational motion of the lip portion relative to the surface of the container receptacle during rotation of the container platform from the first position to a second position or during rotation of the blades.
IMPREGNATION APPARATUS AND IMPREGNATION METHOD
The instant disclosure provides an impregnation apparatus for impregnating a material in a combined medicament. The impregnation apparatus includes a delivery device, a dispensing device, a transmission device, a scraper device, and an impregnation execution device. The combined medicament is poured into a receiving unit by the dispensing device. The scraper device includes a scraper moving unit and a scraper structure arranged on the scraper moving unit. The scraper moving unit drives the scraper structure, leveling the combined medicament in the receiving unit. The impregnation execution device includes a carrying unit and a carrier moving unit. The material is disposed in the carrying unit and is impregnated into the receiving unit carrying the combined medicament by moving the carrying unit. The instant disclosure further provides an impregnation method.
Mixing apparatus
A mixing apparatus which can reliably prevent an auxiliary liquid from being unintentionally mixed into a main unit even when a failure occurs in a switching device, and which can prevent the switching device or an auxiliary flow route from being damaged even when a pressurizing device malfunctions due to the failure. The mixing apparatus includes a pipe circulating dilution water; a pipe circulating a disinfecting solution; a pressurizing pump circulating the disinfecting solution in the pipe toward the pipe; and a check valve capable of optionally turning on and off the pipe. The mixing apparatus further includes a discharge flow route which consists of a flow route branched from between the check valve and the pressurizing pump in the pipe, and which can discharge the dilution water or the disinfecting solution; and an electromagnetic valve which can control the flow route between the check valve and the pressurizing pump in the pipe to have a pressure lower than that of the pipe when not mixing the disinfecting solution with the dilution water.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STORING AND MIXING A BONE CEMENT
Devices and methods mix a bone cement and comprise at least one cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises in its interior a cylindrical mixing chamber, a discharge piston movable in the cylindrical mixing chamber in the longitudinal direction and sealable against the walls of the mixing chamber, a mixing device for thoroughly mixing the content of the mixing chamber, which is arranged in the interior of the mixing chamber. The mixing device is operable externally via a mixing rod and the mixing rod is guided through a passage in the discharge piston such that it can be rotated and displaced in the longitudinal direction by the discharge piston. The cartridge comprises a discharge opening opposite the discharge piston, wherein, in the mixing chamber, a first component is contained between the discharge piston and the discharge opening, wherein a monomer fluid as a second component is introducable through the discharge opening into the mixing chamber. The device further comprises a locking element with which the mixing rod is affixable to the discharge piston such that the discharge piston is movable by means of the mixing rod in the mixing chamber in the longitudinal direction.
AUTOMATED SYSTEM TO ASSOCIATE AN AGITATOR WITH A RESPECTIVE CONTAINER FOR CONTAINING FLUID AND METHOD THEREOF
An automated system associates an agitator with a respective container for containing fluid, such as paint. The system includes a plurality of agitators; a storage area where the plurality of agitators are arranged; a moving device for moving the agitators at least between the storage area and the container; and a control system for controlling and coordinating the operations of the system. The agitators include a locking mechanism for removably fixing the agitator to the respective container.
Concrete Mixer Truck Cleaning System
A cleaning system is disclosed for cleaning concrete residue from a concrete mixer truck. The cleaning system may include a water delivery system having one or more conduits configured to deliver pressurized water to one or more spray headers positioned at various back-end portions of the truck. The cleaning system further includes one or more valves configured to control the flow of pressurized water through the one or more conduits to the one or more spray headers. In various embodiments, the one or more valves are manually operable to control the release of water to the spray headers. In other embodiments, the one or more valves are controlled by a computing device through an electrical coupling such as a communication bus. The cleaning system may be configured to clean different portions of the truck using different sets of spray headers at different times as part of a washing protocol.
Agricultural sampling system and related methods
A coulter assembly for collecting soil samples from an agricultural field in one embodiment comprises an annular collection blade configured for penetrating soil to capture a sample, an annular cam ring configured for stationary mounting to a frame of an agricultural vehicle and comprising a cam track, a blade hub coupled to the blade for rotatably supporting the annular collection blade from the annular cam ring, and a movable sample collector mounted to the annular collection blade. The moveable sample collector is configured and operable for extracting a soil sample as the annular collection blade is rotated through the soil. The moveable sample collector in one embodiment comprises a piston mechanism including a cylinder and rod movably disposed therein which actuated by the annular cam ring to alternatingly open and close a collection end of the cylinder as the annular collection blade rotates through the soil.
