APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLED BLENDER LOCKING MECHANISM
A system for processing foodstuffs includes a container platform, a blade platform, and a locking mechanism. The container platform defines a container receptacle configured to receive a container including foodstuffs. The blade platform includes blades configured to rotate to process the foodstuffs. The locking mechanism is configured to couple the container platform to the blade platform to form a blending chamber including the blades and the container subsequent to determining that the container is received by the container receptacle and prior to rotation of the blades.
APPARATUS MIXING BLENDED COMPOSITION FOR SKIN TREATMENT
A mixer is provided for mixing a substance in a container. The mixer includes a motor; a frame configured to be controlled by the motor to rotate on an axis; a carrier disposed at a first end of the frame and configured to hold the container; a counterweight disposed at a second end of the frame opposite to the carrier, wherein the counterweight position relative to the axis is adjustable. The mixer may be a stand-alone unit, or it may be disposed in an apparatus for dispensing a cosmetic composition.
Formulations
A receptacle includes a cardboard box in which is arranged a plastics container. A first securement element associated with the plastics container is positioned in a gap defined by the cardboard of the box thereby to restrict movement of the container within the box.
Shaking adapter for a power tool
The adapter connects an aerosol or similarly shaped can to a power tool for the purpose of mixing the contents within the can. The adapter preferably connects a reciprocating power tool, such as a reciprocating saw, to a spray paint can that is necessarily shaken before use. To secure the can to the power tool, the adapter has multiple fingers that grasp the end of an aerosol can with respective tabs. The tabs catch on a ring on the topside of the spray paint can to prevent it from breaking away from the reciprocating tool during operation. To secure the adapter to the can, the fingers and tabs have a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the can rim but deform into an oblong arrangement to receive the can before returning to the circular arrangement and locking the can in place. To deform the adapter, an actuator is connected to the side of the cylindrical body and the can is held in place until the actuator is actuated and the tabbed fingers can be pulled away from the can.
Paint Maker and Mixing Device
A mixing and paint-making device and method for making paint are described. Embodiments of the paint-making device include a first and second palette hingedly coupled to a base. The base includes a paint pot shaking component configured to agitate and/or translate a paint pot. The paint pot shaking component includes a series of gears and pistons that interact to produce a shaking motion for a paint pot coupled to the paint pot shaking component. In one embodiment, the paint pot shaking component includes a crank gear adjacent a combination gear that contacts a slide crankshaft. The slide crankshaft is coupled to a slide crank arm that is secured by slide bracket coupled to the base. A paint pot harness holds a paint pot during agitation and moves in an upward and downward motion corresponding to the motion of the slide crank arm.
Adapter for use in a planetary mixer
A dispensing container and adapter system for use with a planetary mixer is disclosed. The dispensing container has a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a nozzle and a removable cap to cover the nozzle. The removable cap may have a first width dimension measured along the transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a body having a second width dimension measured along the transverse axis. An adapter may receive the dispensing container. The adapter may include a cavity to receive the removable cap. The cavity may have a cavity width that exceeds the first width dimension. The adapter may also include a recess for receiving a portion of the dispensing container. The recess may extend from the cavity. At least a portion of the recess may have a width dimension smaller than both the first width dimension and the second width dimension.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SELF-CLEANING BLENDER SYSTEM
A system for processing foodstuffs includes a chamber including foodstuffs, a blade assembly, and a processor. The blade assembly includes blades configured to rotate within the chamber based on initiation of a blend cycle. The processor is configured to determine a trigger event to initiate a cleaning cycle of the blade assembly to remove foodstuffs remaining in the chamber, and execute the cleaning cycle, responsive to detecting the trigger event, by causing fluid to be injected into the chamber, causing the blades of the blade assembly to rotate for a predetermined amount of time, and cause removal of at least a portion of the fluid and the remaining foodstuffs from the chamber.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BLENDER SYSTEM WITH MID-CYCLE INVERSION
A system includes a container platform configured to receive a container, a blade assembly and a blade actuator for rotating blades of the blade assembly, a blade platform, and a platform actuator for moving the blade platform between a blade engagement position and a container engagement position. A processor is configured to cause the platform actuator to move the blade platform, prior to a first actuation of the blade actuator, from the container engagement position to the blade engagement position, to cause the first actuation, to cause the platform actuator to move the blade platform towards the container engagement position, to cause the blade platform to return to the blade engagement position, to cause a second actuation of the blade actuator, and to cause the platform actuator to return the blade platform to the container engagement position subsequent to the second actuation.
NAIL POLISH SHAKER
A nail polish shaker is disclosed. In the nail polish shaker, a support member supporting a nail polish bottle is driven by a motor to move upward and downward for shaking the nail polish bottle, so as to uniformly mix the nail polish contained in the nail polish bottle. In addition, the support member can be rotated leftward or rightward by a desired angle, to facilitate take or place the nail polish bottle.
