The present invention is a portable gaming and entertainment system (or environment) for use with a video game console and related components that allows the user thereof to easily, safely and conveniently transport the system. The system comprises an integrated screen with USB and HDMI capabilities that connect directly to the video game console. The integrated screen contains monitor and speaker, and is operative to be opened and maintained at a position to provide a desirable viewing angle for a user. The integrated screen closes against the video game console so that the user may easily transport and/or store the entire system.

Modular multi-system gaming console

A modular multi-system gaming console can be configurable for use in conjunction with expansion consoles (also referred to as expansion modules, expansion units, and/or element modules herein) as a gaming console emulator and/or for use as an audio/video converter (e.g., an up-converter), data recorder, or streaming device. Further, the modular multi-system gaming console can evoke the original gaming experience of a game played on original hardware. A modular multi-system gaming console can provide a consistent platform for display, content management, statistical storage and analysis (e.g., high scores, fastest speed runs, etc.), and live streaming and other services (including core services described herein) across a multitude of gaming console platforms. A modular multi-system gaming console can also provide a more authentic game experience via active cartridge reading. Further, by providing a flexible and configurable architecture for the modular multi-system gaming console, support for new consoles can be added to the modular multi-system gaming console without requiring users to purchase an entirely new console that repeats hardware for providing the core services.

GAME ENGINE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINE ON A CHIP
20190287208 · 2019-09-19 · ·

An electronic chip, a chip assembly, a computing device, and a method are described. The electronic chip comprises a plurality of processing cores and at least one hardware interface coupled to at least one of the one or more processing cores. At least one processing core implements a game engine and/or a simulation engine and one or more processing cores implements an artificial intelligence engine, whereby implementations are on-chip implementations in hardware by dedicated electronic circuitry. The one or more game and/or simulation engines perform tasks on sensory data, generating data sets that are processed through machine learning algorithms by the hardwired artificial intelligence engine. The data sets processed by the hardwired artificial intelligence engine include at least contextual data and target data, wherein combining both data and processing by dedicated hardware results in enhanced machine learning processing.
