Fluid management system for producing treatment fluid using containerized fluid additives

An example fluid management system for generating a fluid for a treatment operation may include a mixer and a first portable container disposed proximate to and elevated above the mixer. The first portable container may hold dry chemical additives. A feeder may be positioned below the first portable container to direct dry chemical additives from the first portable container to the mixer. The system may also include a first pump to provide fluid to the mixer from a fluid source.

Formula delivery head

A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

One aspect relates to a method of producing a bone cement from at least two starting components in a device comprising a first hollow cylinder-shaped container and a second hollow cylinder-shaped container, a vessel arranged in the first container, whereby a monomer liquid is stored in the vessel. The aspect also relates to a device for providing a bone cement from two starting components, comprising a hollow cylinder-shaped first container, in which a vessel for a monomer liquid as first starting component can be stored, a hollow cylinder-shaped second container comprising a first internal space, in which a bone cement powder as second starting component can be stored, and a second internal space into which the monomer liquid can be conveyed, a fluid-conducting conveying means arranged between the first internal space and the second internal space, whereby the first container and the second container are axially connected to each other.

DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID ON DEMAND SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD

Provided herein are systems, apparatuses, and methods for localized, on-demand diesel exhaust fluid (“DEF”) production. The systems can comprise a loading station for securing a container comprising a pre-measured quantity of urea and releasing the urea from the container. The released urea and water can then be fed into a mixing tank to produce the DEF product. The water can be pre-treated, for example, in a reverse osmosis and/or deionization process before being fed to the mixing tank. The DEF product can be immediately dispensed into a diesel vehicle or stored in a nearby intermediate storage tank. The systems and processes advantageously reduce or eliminate the need for over-the-road shipments and retail packaging of DEF.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING INGREDIENTS FOR A BABY BOTTLE USING A CONCENTRATED SOLUTION

Described is an apparatus for preparing baby formula using a liquid concentrate solution. The apparatus includes a housing with a cavity for receiving and holding a container liquid concentrate solution. A motor is attached with the housing for forcing liquid concentrate solution from the container and into a mixing chamber. A pump and a water tank are also included. A spray head is attached with the housing. The spray head includes a plurality of spray jets in fluid connection with the pump for receiving water from the water tank and dispensing water from the spray jets into the mixing chamber. Finally, the mixing chamber receives the liquid concentrate solution and water, such that when the water and the liquid concentrate solution are introduced into the mixing chamber, the water and liquid concentrate solution mix into a baby formula and are dispensed from an outlet in the mixing chamber.
