A blender tub for hydraulic fracturing operations and associated components are provided. A spinning proppant distributor located above the blender tub liquid level interrupts and redirects falling granular proppant material (e.g. sand) into the tub. A fluid intake channel wraps around at least part of the blender tub outside wall and introduces liquid (e.g. water) into the blender tub via a plurality of channels. The liquid is introduced with a force and angle which imparts a vortex within the blender tub. The above aspects facilitate blending of material within the tub.

Blender assembly

A blending appliance includes a housing with a jar receiving area defined between an upper housing and a support base. A blender jar includes a base portion and a receptacle portion, and is configured to be laterally received within the jar receiving area of the housing. A magnetic coupling system includes an upper magnetic coupler disposed in the base portion of the blender jar and a lower magnetic coupler disposed in the support base of the housing. The upper and lower magnetic couplers are magnetically coupled to one another for driving a blade assembly disposed in the receptacle portion of the blender jar. A brake mechanism is disposed on the upper magnetic coupler and is configured to stop rotation of the upper magnetic coupler when the blender jar is removed from the jar receiving area.

Provided are a method and apparatus for generating ultrafine bubbles in a liquid. The method involves introducing, in real time, and at a time when dispensation of the liquid with ultrafine bubbles is to occur, the liquid into a liquid chamber. A bubble generator is activated to impart a shearing force on the liquid within the liquid chamber to cause cavitation of the liquid that results in formation of the ultrafine bubbles. The liquid containing the ultrafine bubbles that exits the liquid chamber is dispensed, to be imparted onto a target object.

Method for powder flow control

A feeder system includes a donut-ring-shaped first wheel having a first groove recessed below its top surface, with a first hopper positioned above to receive material. A first conduit connects the hopper bottom to the groove, defining a feeding path. A mixer unit receives materials, connected to the first groove via a first suction head. A first motor rotates the first wheel, transferring material from hopper to groove to mixer unit. A donut-ring-shaped second wheel includes a second groove, second hopper, and second conduit. A second suction head connects this groove to the mixer unit, while a second motor enables wheel rotation for material transfer. The mixer unit combines both materials. The feeder system implements coaxial wheel arrangement with independent material flow control, enabling independent powder delivery for additive manufacturing applications.
