A system and the method of use for processing a cell therapy product includes a centrifugation container and a rotor generating centrifugal field that extends to the centrifugation container. The centrifugation container has a substantially cylindrically shaped container body and a movable plunger rod. The container body contains cell suspension and the movable plunger rod is configured to have a mixing blade at the end of the movable plunger rod contacting the cell suspension in the container body. The mixing blade on the movable plunger rod generates mixing force applied to the cell suspension when the movable plunger rod is rotated around axis of the container body. The end of the movable plunger rod contacting the cell suspension is also movable in the container body along longitudinal direction of the container body when withdrawing and expelling fluid in and out of the centrifugation container body.

Disclosed is a two-component mixing capsule for intake and for mixing of two compositions with a capsule housing having a discharge spout at its front end, wherein the mixing capsule comprises a first mixing chamber and a second mixing chamber, wherein the two mixing chambers may be separated from each other for storage or for transport, by the first mixing chamber being rotatable into a first position in which the first mixing chamber is separated from mixing chamber, by a rotatably mounted handhold element, the rotational axis of which is approximately perpendicularly arranged to the longitudinal axis of the mixing capsule. The two mixing chambers form a common mixing chamber by rotating the first mixing chamber into a second position in which the central axes of the first and second mixing chamber are substantially coaxially arranged, wherein the composition may be discharged after mixing by attaching a squeezing piston.

The mixing device also includes a magazine having a cylindrical inner surface, the cylinder axis of which is coaxial with a cylinder axis of the cylindrical outer surface of the wall, and a multiplicity of ducts. The magazine and wall are movable with respect to one another such that the openings of the multiplicity of ducts in the inner surface of the magazine are each connectable in a medium-conducting manner to the opening of the at least one feed duct in the outer surface of the wall.

The container includes a female coupling member for mating with a syringe, and a pressure equalizer for equalizing a pressure inside the foaming space with a pressure outside the foaming space. Systems and kits including such containers are also provided. Also disclosed are methods for the preparation of a sclerosant foam which may include a pressure release before extraction of the foam and/or a continued rotation of the actuator while the foam is being extracted.

Pressure introduced through an opening in the proximal end moves the shaft such that the proximal plunger moves a fluid within the proximal chamber out of the first port and the distal plunger moves a fluid within the distal chamber out of the second port to simultaneously actuate a bone filler dispenser.
