Apparatus (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) for customized production of a flavoring agent, the apparatus too, (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) comprising: a retainer (110, 210, 310, 610) for retaining at least two containers (10), each container (10) comprising a respective flavoring agent; a collecting and dispensing unit, e g a manipulator (120, 220, 320), for collecting and dispensing flavoring agents; a mixer (130, 230, 330) for mixing flavoring agents for obtaining a new flavoring agent; a control-unit (140) for controlling at least the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) and the mixer (130, 230, 330), and a communication unit for communicating with a remote server (41) and/or remote device 20, wherein the control-unit (140) is configured such that the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) collects and dispenses a first defined amount of flavoring agent from a first container (10) to the mixer (130, 230, 330), the collecting and dispensing unit (120, 220, 320) collects and dispenses a second defined amount of flavoring agent from a second container (10) to the mixer (130, 230, 330), and the mixer (130, 230, 330) mixes the first and second defined amount of flavoring agents inside of the mixer (130, 230, 330) for producing the new flavoring agent. The invention further relates to a system with such an apparatus, a corresponding process as well as to a container for such an apparatus, system and process.

An internal mixer includes a mixing chamber enclosed by a housing, a feeding neck in which a ram is guided, a closable discharge door, and an intermeshing rotor system, composed of a pair of rotors that can each be rotated about a rotor longitudinal axis, each rotor comprising a rotor main body on which at least one respective rotor blade is arranged, and the rotor blades of the two rotors meshing with one another, is to be refined in such a way that an improved, that is, faster, pull-in behavior is achieved, while optimizing the dispersion and distribution of the introduced materials. To this end, it is provided that in the case of at least one of the rotors, the rotor main body, at least in sub-regions, is non-cylindrical and has a non-circular cross-section, in the surface sections in which no rotor blades are arranged on the rotor main body.

A treatment apparatus for a mixing device having a concentric barrel configuration. The treatment apparatus includes a manifold including an input end and an output end. The treatment apparatus also includes a conduit body having a manifold end and a nozzle end. The manifold end is connected to the output end of the manifold, and the conduit body includes at least one nozzle at the nozzle end of the conduit body opposite the manifold. At least one fluid pathway is formed between the input end of the manifold, the conduit body, and the at least one nozzle.

A portioning machine for providing a custom cosmetic includes a mixer having a mixing chamber and also accommodates a plurality of dispensers having outlets that are directly coupled to the mixing chamber. In one embodiment, the portioning machine includes a plurality of slots, where each slot is configured to receive an assembly having at least one dispenser. In another embodiment, the portioning machine includes a slot configured to receive an assembly having a plurality of dispensers. Each dispenser is associated with an actuator, and the portioning machine includes a portioning processor configured to control the actuators to dispense additives from selected dispensers into the mixing chamber in accordance with a target set of additive ratios to produce the custom cosmetic.

A method is for preparing a medical/chemical solution by mixing a medical/chemical substance housed in a sealed container with a solution housed in a bag. The method includes transferring, from the bag into a syringe, an amount of the solution that is to be injected into a plurality of the containers. With the container and the syringe being held, at least one of a robot and a syringe driver configured to drive a plunger of the syringe is controlled so as to inject the amount of the solution into the plurality of the containers from the syringe.

One aspect relates to a device for producing a bone cement paste from a monomer liquid and a cement powder as parent components of the bone cement paste and for delivering the mixed bone cement paste. The device has a cartridge with a cylindrical interior. The interior of the cartridge is closed at a front side apart from a delivery opening for discharging the bone cement paste. In the interior of the cartridge a delivery plunger is arranged which is pushable in the direction of the delivery opening. The cement powder is arranged in the interior of the cartridge between the delivery opening and the delivery plunger. A hollow cylinder is arranged at a front side of the delivery plunger facing the delivery opening. The hollow cylinder is open at its front face facing the delivery opening and extends from the front side of the delivery plunger at least 3 mm into the interior of the cartridge.

Disclosed is a double chamber container. The first chamber comprises a stopper coupled to a first end and a cover coupled to a second end. The second chamber comprises a plunger coupled to one end and an open second end. The first chamber is coupled to the second chamber such that the first end of the first chamber is coupled to the second end of the second chamber.

A mixing and dispensing system for a two-component material, such as a bone cement, the mixing and dispensing system including a handle connected to the mixer via a mixing shaft. The mixing shaft extends through the piston from the piston driving end in the direction of the outlet end in order to move the mixer in dependence on movements initiated via the handle, and with the handle being detachable, in particular in a non-destructive manner, from the mixing shaft via a connector.

The appliance includes a housing and a stationary internal cup for receiving an unprocessed cosmetics portion. A manual mixer serves to facilitate mixing and agitating materials for use during surgery. The manual mixer includes a mixing assembly and an actuation assembly for actuating the mixing assembly. The mixing assembly includes at least a paddle portion and a plunger portion. The plunger portion is simultaneously capable of rotational movement with the paddle portion and movement upwardly or downwardly along the paddle portion. Rotation of the paddle portion serves to facilitate mixing and agitating of the materials, and downward movement of the plunger portion serves to facilitate dispensing of the materials from the manual mixer.
