Resin dispenser for additive manufacturing
A method of making a three-dimensional object by additive manufacturing from a blended resin including (i) at least one light polymerizable first component and, (ii) at least one, or a plurality of, second solidifiable components that are different from said first component, the method including: providing a first resin and a second resin, where the resins produce three-dimensional objects having different mechanical properties from one another when all are produced under the same process conditions; mixing the first and second resins with one another to produce the blended resin, the blended resin producing a three-dimensional object having mechanical properties intermediate between that of objects produced by the first and second resins when all are produced under the same process conditions; and dispensing the blended resin to the build region of an additive manufacturing apparatus; and then optionally but preferably producing a three-dimensional object from the blended resin in the apparatus.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LIQUID WITH GAS BUBBLES
A system for producing a liquid with gas bubbles. The system has an eductor to mix a liquid stream and a gas stream to a form of a liquid-gas mixture and a mixing column with a stack of filling layers to reduce a size of gas bubbles within the liquid-gas mixture. The stack of filling layers has a plurality of porous layers separated alternately by plate layers and ring layers.
Compounding device, system, kit, software, and method
An exemplary compounding system and device for mixing materials can include a housing, a first material source and a second material source. A first fluid line can be operationally connected to the housing and configured to transport a first volume of fluid per unit time from the first material source to a final container. A second fluid line can be operationally connected to the housing and configured to transport a second volume of fluid per unit time from the second material source to the final container. The device can also include a pump system including, a first pump having a first rotor and a first platen which secures the first fluid line between the first rotor and the first platen, the first pump being configured to move the first volume of fluid through the first fluid line, and a second pump having a second rotor and a second platen which secures the second fluid line between the second rotor and the second platen, the second pump being configured to move the second volume of fluid through the second fluid line. A first platen lock can be provided and can be rotated in a first direction to lock the first platen in a closed position relative to the first rotor, and wherein rotation of the first rotor draws the first material source through the first fluid line. The pump system can also be configured such that the volume of fluid per unit time delivered by the first and second pumps is different, and/or where the first and second pumps have different head characteristics.
Ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing apparatus and ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing method
In order to efficiently produce a liquid containing ultrafine bubbles of a desired gas, an ultrafine bubble-containing liquid producing apparatus includes a gas dissolving unit that dissolves a predetermined gas into a liquid, and a UFB generating unit that generates ultrafine bubbles in the liquid in which the predetermined gas is dissolved. A CPU performs control under a first condition in a case of causing the gas dissolving unit to operate in a circulation route passing through the dissolving unit. The CPU performs control under a second condition different from the first condition in a case of causing the UFB generating unit to operate in a circulation route passing through the UFB generating unit.
MULTI-COMPONENT VARIABLE CONTROL FRAGRANCE DISPENSING SYSTEM APPARATUS
Apparatus and methods for variable-control fragrance dispensing. The disclosed device brings customization to the fragrance industry. Interchanging sub-containers and selecting the amounts of each sub-container allows a user to customize their scents. A mixing chamber contained to receive and mix a variable amount of each liquid from a plurality of sub-containers is described. The mixed liquid is sprayable out a spray head of the device. Selector knobs may be used to control valves which control the variable amount of each liquid dispensed.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SPRAY-DRIED POWDERS
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing spray-dried powders. During the process, a solvent is used. The process is done batchwise such that the emulsification mass ratio is low when removal of the solvent is started. Preferred solvents are isopropyl acetate and ethyl acetate. The invention also relates to a set-up to run the inventive process at industrial scale.
Vaping liquid dispensing and vending
A vaping liquid dispensing and vending apparatus comprises filling module(s), user container holder(s), positioning mechanism(s) and controller module(s). The filling module(s) comprise: machine container(s) configured to hold vaping liquid(s), nozzle(s) configured to dispense vaping liquid(s) to user container(s), and measuring pump module(s) configured to pump a measured amount of vaping liquid(s) from machine container(s) to nozzle(s). The user container holder(s) are configured to hold user container(s). Positioning mechanism(s) align user container holder(s) with filing module(s). Controller module(s) execute production instructions causing vaping liquid formulations to be dispensed into user container(s).
Water aeration system with floating diffuser
A water aeration system powers an air pump held in an encasement with a solar panel mounted directly or indirectly to the encasement or to the mounting pole supporting the encasement above a ground surface. An air conduit directs pumped air to one or more disc diffusers submerged in the body of water to be aerated. The disc diffuser(s) are supported by a floating platform that is suspended from a buoy or float so that the disc diffuser(s) are held at a desired depth below the water surface.
Dispensing assembly including an additive mixing device
A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.
TRANSPORTABLE BLENDING SYSTEM
A transportable blending system includes a container enclosure including a base, a roof, opposing first and second ends, and opposing first and second sidewalls, a pump fluidly coupled to an inlet manifold penetrating the container enclosure, wherein a base fluid is conveyed to the pump via the inlet manifold, and a mixing unit in fluid communication with the pump to receive the base fluid. A hopper is fluidly coupled to the mixing unit and has an inlet aligned with an opening defined in the roof, wherein an additive is delivered to the hopper via the opening to be conveyed to the mixing unit and blended with the base fluid to generate a working fluid.
