Reconfigurable explosives materials transport and delivery system
A supply system supplies an explosives material and comprises an explosives material delivery mechanism, a bin, a first outlet, a first removable cover, a port and an operation tool. The bin has an upper end, a lower end, and an interior volume that provides a first compartment for storing the explosives material. The first compartment has a corresponding lower end. The first outlet at the lower end of the first compartment feeds the explosives material from the first compartment to the explosive material delivery mechanism. The first removable cover is placed on a second outlet at the lower end of the compartment. The port is at the upper end of the bin by which the explosives material is loadable into the first compartment. The operation tool allows installation and removal of the first removable cover by way of the port without requiring any personnel to enter into the bin.
Coffee Densifier
A coffee densifier is disclosed having an elongated housing having a chamber configured to receive ground coffee. The mixing chamber has an inlet end opposite a discharge end. The discharge end has a discharge door. The densifier has a shaft driven by a motor, the shaft extending along a longitudinal length of the mixing chamber. The densifier has a plurality of paddle-less pins fixed to the mixing shaft and configured to agitate a bed of coffee within the mixing chamber.
Method for producing fiber reinforced cementitious slurry using a multi-stage continuous mixer
A method in which a stream of dry cementitious powder from a dry powder feeder passes through a dry cementitious powder inlet conduit to feed a first feed section of a fiber-slurry mixer. An aqueous medium stream passes through at least one aqueous medium stream conduit to feed a first mixing section the fiber-slurry mixer. A stream of reinforcing fibers passes from a fiber feeder through a reinforcing fibers stream conduit to feed a second mixing section of the fiber-slurry mixer. The stream of dry cementitious powder, aqueous medium stream, and stream of reinforcing fibers combine in the fiber-slurry mixer to make a stream of fiber-cement mixture which discharges through a discharge conduit at a downstream end of the mixer.
Waste absorbing formulation with communication capabilities and toilet systems for use thereof
A toilet apparatus has a waste material receiving bowl with an opening to receive an absorbent media and indicator and a sensor to detect a presence of the indicator in the material receiving bowl when the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl and transmit a signal indicating the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl. A control circuit receives the signal from the sensor, processes the signal to determine the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl, and causes one or more actions to be taken by the toilet apparatus based on determining the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl.
MULTI-RESERVOIR FEEDING APPARATUS
A multi-reservoir feeding/dosing apparatus for the delivery of at least two substances in discrete form includes first and second conveying elements in which the discharge end thereof are a close fit in a discharge bushing thereby to ensure that the correct dosage of each substance is discharged on a consistent basis. Each conveying element is in its respective reservoir. At least one motor drives both conveying elements, with each rotational direction of the motor actuating a corresponding one of the conveying elements.
Apparatus for producing rapid-hardening concrete by intermixing and dissipating air in normal concrete and adding early-strength admixture thereto, and method for producing same
The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing rapid-hardening concrete and a method for producing same, the rapid-hardening concrete being produced by intermixing and dissipating air in normal concrete and adding an early-strength admixture thereto. With respect to forming rapid-hardening concrete, mixed concrete is formed by mixing in a large volume of air bubbles to be discarded, along with an early-strength admixture, to already mixed normal concrete, the early-strength admixture getting evenly dispersed therewithin by means of the ball bearing effect of the air bubbles, and when the mixed concrete is discharged, a rapid-hardening concrete is shotcreted while excess air contained in the mixed concrete is dissipated by means of high-performance air, the slump which was raised due to the large amount of air bubbles having been reduced to the slump range for normal concrete.
DEVICE FOR ON-DEMAND CONCRETE HYDRATION
A mixing apparatus having a processing area that exposes free falling dry materials to a high pressure hydration element and forms slurry with the a mixture of the dray materials and liquid.
Process for the insertion and conveying of labile additives in streams of molten material
The present invention relates to a process for the insertion and conveying of a labile additive, or a mixture thereof, in a transporting pipe, in which a main stream of molten material flows, said process characterized in that it incorporates said additive, or said mixture, in a portion of the pipe delimited by the main stream, according to one of the following alternative modes: a) in a longitudinal direction with respect to the flow direction of the main stream of molten material, or b) in a transversal direction with respect to the flow direction of the main stream of. molten material, or c) according to a composition of the longitudinal (a) and transversal (b) mode, thus forming a resulting stream which keeps the labile additives segregated from the main stream of molten material.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING TREATMENT FLUID USING CONTAINERIZED FLUID ADDITIVES
An example fluid management system for generating a fluid for a treatment operation may include a mixer and a first portable container disposed proximate to and elevated above the mixer. The first portable container may hold dry chemical additives. A feeder may be positioned below the first portable container to direct dry chemical additives from the first portable container to the mixer. The system may also include a first pump to provide fluid to the mixer from a fluid source.
Blender for Frac Fluids
The density of slurries produced by mobile blender for injection into oil and gas wells is controlled using a microwave flow meter. Liquid having a known density is provided to the blender. The liquid is flowed through a conduit and discharged into a blending tub on the mobile blender. The amount of liquid introduced into the tub is measured with a liquid flow meter. Solid particulates having a known density are provided to the blender. The particulates are discharged into the tub by allowing them to fall into the tub from a conveyor on the mobile blender. The amount of the particulates falling into the tub are measured with a microwave flow meter. The flow of the liquid and the particulates are controlled in response to the measurements to blend a slurry having a predetermined density. The slurry is provided for injection into the well.
