The system further includes a powder hydration component and liquid chemical equipment. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel includes a guar powder procedure including a controlled sequence for starting and stopping a venturi mixer in a hydration unit. The method for producing homogenized oil field gel further includes a liquefied gel concentrate procedure including a metering and chemical injection procedure for mixing a liquefied gel concentrate.
Automated bread-making system
An automated production system is disclosed herein. One aspect of the present technology, for example, is directed toward an automated system for the continuous production of baked bread. The system can include a priming assembly having a dry ingredients priming unit and a wet ingredients priming unit. The dry ingredients priming unit can include a vertically-oriented hopper and a screw positioned within an interior region of the hopper, wherein the first screw extends along the central longitudinal axis of the hopper and is configured to rotate about its own central longitudinal axis. The system can also include a mixing assembly, a forming assembly, an oven, and a controller. The controller can be coupled to the priming assembly and configured to adjust the amount of dry ingredients delivered from the hopper to the mixing chamber by controlling rotation of the screw.
Detection of solid delivery for slurry mixing
Described herein are systems, apparatuses, methods and computer-readable media that monitor and evaluate the density of a slurry of materials provided to a wellbore. Such systems and methods may be used when a volume of solids used in a hydraulic fracturing process is mixed with a volume of fluid when the slurry of materials is formed according to a hydraulic fracturing rule. This slurry may then be provided to the wellbore such that a hydraulic fracturing process may be completed. Here the solids may include a specific type of sand, a proppant material, or other material. Fluids used to make the slurry may include water, chemicals, or other liquids. A density of the slurry may be identified based on measurements that identify a mass of solids and volume of fluid that are provided to form the slurry.
Toilet apparatus and method of use
A toilet apparatus has a waste material receiving bowl with an opening at a top of the waste material receiving bowl. A bag receives and retains waste material and an absorbent media introduced through the opening. An agitation device agitate the absorbent media and the waste material at a lower portion of the bag to cause the absorbent media to at least substantially cover the waste material while the agitation device is not contacting the absorbent media and the waste material.
DRY POLYMER FRACKING SYSTEM
A system for introducing bulk dry material into a fluid system includes a vessel, wherein the vessel is closed; an outlet wherein the outlet is located on a bottom of the vessel; a valve controlling the outlet; corner locking pins located on the outside of the vessel; a scale; and a controller. The system may include a conveyor; a hopper; a motor; and a shearing device.
Multi-reservoir feeding apparatus
A multi-reservoir feeding/dosing apparatus for the delivery of at least two substances in discrete form includes first and second conveying elements in which the discharge end thereof are a close fit in a discharge bushing thereby to ensure that the correct dosage of each substance is discharged on a consistent basis. Each conveying element is in its respective reservoir. At least one motor drives both conveying elements, with each rotational direction of the motor actuating a corresponding one of the conveying elements.
Polymer dispersion system for use in a hydraulic fracturing operation
A polymer dispersion system for use in a hydraulic fracturing operation is disclosed. The system comprises (a) a tank assembly comprising an ingress, an egress, and an interior volume for collecting mother solution; (b) a first transfer pump coupled with the egress of the tank assembly: and (c) a second transfer pump coupled with the egress of the tank assembly. The first transfer pump is configured for coupling to a missile unit and a blender unit downstream thereof, but in fluid communication with only one of such units at any given time when coupled. A method of operating said polymer dispersion system is also disclosed.
Device and method for dynamic metering of sealing compounds
Described herein is an apparatus for dynamic metering of sealant volumes, and also described herein is a corresponding method. The apparatus of the invention includes two containers for sealant components; a first drive, which is connected to two devices, each of which is able to convey one of the sealant components from its container; a drive controller; a mixing unit for mixing the sealant components conveyed from the containers, having an opening for applying the sealant to a component; and also, additionally, a compensating container with a compensating volume; and a second drive, which is connected to a piston which reaches into the compensating volume of the compensating container. The compensating container in this arrangement is connected to the mixing unit. The first drive and the second drive can be dynamically controlled jointly by the drive controller.
Systems and methods for bulk material load out
A weigh hopper assembly including a plurality of adjacently aligned weigh hoppers connected via a frame, and longitudinal conveyor mechanism extending along a top portion of the weigh hopper assembly. Each weigh hopper has independent load cells in order to individually weigh the material discharged into the weigh hopper. The conveyor mechanism includes a plurality of gates along a bottom surface of the conveyor mechanism, each gate being aligned with a corresponding weigh hopper of the plurality of weigh hoppers. The conveyor mechanism is in turn connected to a plurality of product bins. A top portion of the conveyor mechanism is in communication with a plurality of product bins via a series of inlet chutes and gates. The weigh hoppers are aligned adjacent to each other and spaced so that each weigh hopper aligns with the transport vehicle.
Weighing and Mixing System
The invention is a weigh ng and mixing system for the preparation of mixtures of components required by processing machines for the manufacture of plastic products. In particular the invention is suitable for the preparation of weighed mixtures comprised of at least two different masterbatches in order to obtain the color shade desired for a specific plastic product.
