The device comprises a chamber having a proximal end and a distal end, and the bone material disposed within the chamber, the bone material comprising a coherent mass of milled and lyophilized demineralized bone fibers; and a plunger having at least a portion slidably disposed within the proximal end of the chamber and configured to dispense the bone material mixed with liquid from the distal end of the chamber, when the plunger is in an extended position.
DISCHARGE DEVICE FOR LIQUID MATERIAL CONTAINING SOLID PARTICLES, DISCHARGE METHOD AND COATING DEVICE
Problem: To supply a device and a method for accurately discharging a fixed amount of a liquid, the liquid containing solid particles, in a state that the solid particles are dispersed in the liquid material. Solution: A discharge device for a liquid material containing solid particles includes a first reservoir, a first air pressure supply pipe, a metering portion having a metering hole, a plunger moving back and forth in the metering hole, a nozzle, a switching valve having a first position and a second position, a plunger driver, and a switching valve driver. The discharge device further includes a second reservoir, a second air pressure supply pipe, a branch portion provided in an upper portion of the metering hole and having a branch flow path, and an opening/closing mechanism that establishes or cuts off communication between the second reservoir and the metering hole. In the discharge device, the liquid material inside the first reservoir can be transferred to the second reservoir, and the liquid material inside the second reservoir can be transferred to the first reservoir. A discharge method is carried out using the discharge device.
DISCHARGE CONTAINER, CUSTOMIZED DISCHARGE SYSTEM HAVING DISCHARGE CONTAINER, AND DISCHARGE CONTROL METHOD IN DISCHARGE CONTAINER
A discharge container 1 includes a container body having a discharge face 13, on which a discharge hole 15 is formed, a cylinder part including a discharge space 2 in communication with the discharge hole 15 inside the container body, a piston 3 movable between a first position and a second position, the second position being farther than the first position from the discharge face in the discharge space 2, and a plurality of storage portions 5a to 5e for storing contents, wherein a plurality of inlet holes respectively corresponding to the plurality of storage portions 5a to 5e are formed in an inner wall of the discharge space 2, wherein, when the piston 3 is at the second position, the plurality of inlet holes 22a to 22e communicate with the discharge space 2 between a top face of the piston 3 and the discharge face, and the contents are ready to flow into the discharge space 2 from the plurality of inlet holes 22a to 22e, and wherein, when the piston 3 is at the first position, the plurality of inlet holes 22a to 22e are closed by the piston 3.
Bone graft materials, devices and methods of use
A device for mixing a bone material with a liquid is provided.
Apparatus for transferring a viscous material
An apparatus for transferring a viscous material comprising: a) a first container capable of containing a viscous material; b) a transfer piston insertable in the first container so that the piston forms a circumferential seal with respect to the container, the transfer piston including a hole; and c) a mechanism for attaching an aperture of a second container to the hole in the transfer piston wherein insertion of the transfer piston into the first container causes the viscous material to pass through the aperture into the second container.
LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE, APPLICATION DEVICE WITH SAID DISCHARGE DEVICE, AND APPLICATION METHOD
A liquid discharge device to discharge a liquid material stirred near a metering chamber, an application device and an application method using the application device. A liquid discharge device includes a storage unit including a storage container storing a liquid material, and a stirrer drive mechanism; a discharge unit including a metering chamber to be filled with the liquid material, a plunger sliding in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the metering chamber, a nozzle in communication with the metering chamber, and a switching valve between a first position at which the storage container and the metering chamber are communicated with each other, and a second position at which the metering chamber and the nozzle are communicated; and a connection flow path through which the storage container and the metering chamber are communicated, The stirrer drive mechanism is separable from the storage unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF METASTABLE STATE MIXING
Metastable state spore incubation mixing systems are described. An example system includes a spores container to store spores, a nutrient container to store nutrients, a water supply line, a syringe tank, a syringe pump, an adjustable valve, a heater, and a controller. In a drawing phase of the system, a controller can cause the syringe pump and the adjustable valve to draw into the syringe tank a volume of spores, nutrients, and water to form a mixture. The controller causes the heater to heat the mixture for a period of time.
