Mixing and delivery method arrangement and pump for supplying small particles suspended in a liquid to form slurry for delivery
A mixing arrangement, and pump for supplying small particles suspended in a liquid to form slurry for delivery includes a container, a mixing and delivery pump having a first shaft, a rotor connected to the first shaft and arranged at an inner bottom of an inner space of the container, a first power device connected to the first shaft, and a stator having stator blades. The stator surrounds the first shaft. The arrangement includes a pump having an inlet, which is located in a stator space between two stator blades, and an outlet, and an outlet pipe having a second inlet opening connected to the outlet and a second outlet opening located outside the inner space.
Bioprocess vessels with integrated pump
A bioprocess vessel includes a flexible bag or substantially rigid container that defines an interior volume and having a bottom surface, the bottom surface being open or containing an aperture therein for the passage of fluid. A pump is secured to the bottom surface of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In some embodiments is secured directly to the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In other embodiments, the pump is secured indirectly the flexible bag or substantially rigid container using, for example, a port that extends through the aperture on the bottom surface. The port or flanged surface may also be integrated into the pump, which is secured to the vessel. An optional mixing adaptor may be provided inside the interior volume of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container and at least partially covers the inlet that leads to the pump.
PROCESSING BIOMASS
Biomass feedstocks (e.g., plant biomass, animal biomass, and municipal waste biomass) are processed to produce useful products, such as fuels. For example, systems are described that can convert feedstock materials to a sugar solution, which can then be fermented to produce a product such as a biofuel.
GYPSUM-BASED BOARD MATERIAL PRODUCING APPARATUS
Provided is a gypsum-based board producing apparatus including: a mixer configured to prepare a gypsum slurry; a foaming apparatus; and a pump configured to convey foam generated by the foaming apparatus to the mixer, wherein the pump is a positive displacement pump.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING TREATMENT FLUID USING CONTAINERIZED FLUID ADDITIVES
An example fluid management system for generating a fluid for a treatment operation may include a mixer and a first portable container disposed proximate to and elevated above the mixer. The first portable container may hold dry chemical additives. A feeder may be positioned below the first portable container to direct dry chemical additives from the first portable container to the mixer. The system may also include a first pump to provide fluid to the mixer from a fluid source.
Assembly for and method of dispensing a liquid
Assembly for dispensing a liquid, in particular a colorant for paint, comprising a container for holding a liquid, a pump, a valve, at least one dispense opening, and comprising or associated with a controller arranged to operate the pump and the valve to withdraw liquid from the container and to dispense liquid via the opening and to operate the pump and the valve to purge liquid from the pump to the container via the dispense opening.
Reagent mixing system and methods
A method includes, under control of control circuitry implementing a mixing protocol, aspirating reagents from multiple different reagent reservoirs into a cache channel. Designated amounts of the reagents are automatically aspirated from the corresponding reagent reservoirs by corresponding sippers based on the mixing protocol implemented by the control circuitry. The method also includes discharging the reagents from the cache channel into a mixing reservoir, and mixing the reagents within the mixing reservoir to form a reagent mixture.
SYSTEM FOR MIXING LIQUID AND POWDER
The present invention provides a mechanism in which the power of a vortex flow can be maintained strong so as to efficiently mix a liquid and a powder. A system for mixing liquid and powder according to the present embodiment is provided with: a powder-liquid mixing unit 20 which has a casing 21 for accommodating therein a powder and a liquid to be mixed together and discharges a mixture from an outlet opening 27 at the bottom of the casing 21; a powder supply unit 10 which is disposed above the powder-liquid mixing unit 20 and supplies a powder to the casing 21; an injection unit 22 which is provided at an upper portion of the casing 21 and injects a liquid into the casing; and a first pump 30 which is connected to the outlet opening 27 of the casing 21 and suctions the mixture inside the casing.
METHODS OF REAL-TIME BLENDING WITH A PUMP
Systems and methods for blending fluids are provided. A blended fluid may be obtained by mixing a first fluid from a first fluid source with a second fluid from a second fluid source. The blended fluid may be pumped by a pump arranged downstream of a point at which the first and second fluids are mixed, wherein no other pumps are upstream of the pump. First and second flow control valves that control the flow rate of the first and second fluids, respectively, are adjusted so as to reach a target flow rate of the blended fluid, the blended fluid having a target blend of the first fluid and the second fluid.
Slurry dispense system
A slurry dispense system utilizes a buffer chamber to release the pressure from the supply pump, and buffer the irregular flow rate of the supply pump. It also utilizes a positive displacement pump to control the dispense flow. With the help of the buffer chamber, the positive displacement pump is able to provide a constant flow rate, and can be accurately controlled. A high resolution and a high speed can be achieved at the same time.
