Device for mixing and metering at least two gases
10688460 · 2020-06-23 · ·

A device for mixing and metering of at least two gases, comprising two bodies that can be displaced relative to each other, wherein margins of the bodies are in contact with one another and between these margins at least two rectangular openings for one gas each can be formed, wherein a displacement of the bodies relative to each other automatically causes an increase of one opening and a decrease of the other opening, wherein the resulting total cross-section of the openings remains constantly the same here. Moreover, the device comprises a control element which is arranged adjacent to the two bodies and in contact therewith, wherein the control element can be translationally displaced in a continuous manner between a closed position and an open position in order to close or to open the openings.

System and method for gas impregnation of a liquid
10688450 · 2020-06-23 · ·

A system for gas impregnation of a liquid includes a container for holding a product ingredient, a first still liquid conduit for conveying a still product including the ingredient, a gas cylinder providing a gas conduit with a compressed gas such as Nitrogen. The system includes two or more pressure chambers each having a corresponding liquid fill valve to control the flow of a still product filling the pressure chamber, and a gas diffuser for diffusing the compressed gas into the still product to produce a gas infused product. A multi-way valve in fluid communication with each of the pressure chambers directs the gas infused product from a selected one of the pressure chambers to a first charged product conduit for supplying a charged liquid dispenser, and blocks fluid from flowing from other, non-selected, ones of the pressure chambers. A method for using the subject system is also provided.

High speed injector apparatus with dual throttle bodies

An apparatus for mixing a first fluid into a flow path of a second fluid, the apparatus comprising: a chamber enclosing the flow path, the chamber including a second fluid first inlet for receiving its respective fluid. The apparatus also includes a second inlet arranged downstream of the first inlet and receiving the first fluid, as well as an outlet arranged downstream of the second inlet for discharging a mixture of the first fluid and the second fluid. The second inlet flows into the flow path and is formed by a shared fluid injector mounted transverse to the axial direction that one fluid and the two fluid flows through its chamber. The flow path includes two respective throttle bodies, each of which is pivotally arranged inside the chamber and attached to opposed sides of the chamber for controlling the flow area of the flow path.

GAS MIXING SYSTEM
20200188865 · 2020-06-18 ·

Provided herein are gas mixing systems, comprising a gas inlet for receiving two or more gases and a mixing chamber with a static mixer for mixing the gases. Preferred mixing chambers further comprise a reduced pressure compartment downstream of the static mixer that is in fluid communication with the gas inlet. A gas outlet is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber, and one or more sensors are coupled to the reduced pressure compartment and are configured to continuously sense various parameters such as barometric pressure and the percentage of oxygen in the gas mixture moving through the mixing device. Most typically, the readings of the sensor are pre-compensated for temperature, pressure, and humidity. Also provided herein are methods for using the same.

Polymer blending system

A system for blending polymers and other chemicals in an aqueous liquid is provided. Static mixers and tubes, preferably in one or more tube bundles, provide a volume sufficient to allow a residence time in the system to hydrate a polymer. Static mixers may be integrated with a tube bundle. The system may be mounted on a portable base such as a trailer. The concentration of polymer and chemicals in water may be controlled by a controller. A variable speed electric pump may be utilized to precisely control the amount of polymers or other chemicals added to the aqueous liquid.

A valve comprising a valve spindle housing located in the side of the chamber and including a first fluid inlet and a first fluid outlet, and a cylinder open along a portion of a longitudinal axis of the cylinder and rotatably mounted in the valve spindle housing. The cylinder is positioned in one position so that the cylinder completely obstructs the valve spindle housing outlet, not allowing any fluid to pass around the cylinder. The cylinder walls are solid except for having openings through a portion of the cylinder, so that when rotated to a closed position, the solid portion of the cylinder fully obstructs the valve spindle housing outlet, and when rotated to an open position, the first fluid can pass into the inside of the cylinder and then through the openings and out of the valve spindle housing.

The present invention relates to methods and systems for producing a foamed adhesive. A method for foaming an adhesive includes feeding an adhesive from a supply storage tank to a pump, conveying the adhesive outputted by the pump through an adhesive flow meter, injecting an air into the adhesive once the adhesive travels through the adhesive flow meter, feeding a mixture of the adhesive and air to a static mixer, mixing the mixture homogeneously with the static mixer such that the adhesive is foamed, and transporting the foamed adhesive to a product storage tank.

Substrate processing apparatus and substrate processing method

First and second concentration measurements are provided in lines for first and second supply liquid lines. A dissolved concentration of gas in the second supply liquid is lower than that in the first supply liquid. In the first and second lines, first ends of branch lines are connected upstream of the concentration measurements. The second ends of the branch lines are connected to a mixing part. By mixing the first and second supply liquids, a processing liquid is generated. Respective flow rates in the branch lines are based on the first and second concentration measurements to set the dissolved concentration of the gas in the processing liquid. Thus, particles or the like can be removed from the processing liquid to be supplied to a substrate, and the dissolved concentration of the gas in the processing liquid can be set with high accuracy.
