Embodiments of the invention relate to devices and novel methods of aerating single servings of wine. Embodiments disclosed herein comprise an electrically-powered stirring mechanism into a wine receptacle. Embodiments further comprise a power source for the stirring mechanism, and a method to charge the power source. In certain embodiments, a stirring mechanism is positioned in a wine receptacle.
DECANTER ASSEMBLY

The present invention relates to a wine aerating device comprising a body member (10), adapted to hold a container (12) containing pressurized gas and a lance member (14) for diffusing pressurized gas into a wine to be aerated, the body member (10) being provided with a passage (102, 103, 121, 105, 104) for passing a flow of pressurized gas from the container (12) to the lance member (14), comprising a comprising a control mechanism (23) for providing a flow of pressurized gas from the body member (10) to the lance member (14) over a variable length of time, the duration of which can be manually set by a user, wherein the control mechanism (23) comprises a valve (24), the valve being adapted to be manually actuated by rotary movement of a collar (20) provided on body member (10).
LIQUID AERATING DEVICE
A liquid aerating device is presented. The device includes a first inner channel through which air flows in a first direction, a second inner channel extending substantially parallel to the first inner channel, wherein liquid flows through the second inner channel in a second direction that is opposite of the first direction, and an aeration chamber. The aeration chamber is connected to the first inner channel and the second inner channel, and positioned such that the air flows into the first inner channel from the aeration chamber and the liquid flows out of the second inner channel into the aeration chamber.

The high efficiency cooling wine aerator of the present invention is detachable, convenient in cleaning, coolable during decanting and small in noise during decanting.
