VALVE FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID AND OPTIONALLY AERATING IT
A valve for dispensing a liquid includes a housing, an internal liquid passage extending through the housing, a valve seat, a valve member movable between a closed position engaging the valve seat and an open position disengaging the valve seat, and a control member controlling movement of the valve member, which is movable between a first position in which it engages the valve member in its closed position, a second position in which the valve member is in its open position but still engaging the control member and a third position in which the valve member is in its open position and out of engagement with the control member. At least one air passage connects the outside of the valve with the internal liquid passage. The at least one air passage is closed in the first and second positions of the control member and is opened in the third position.
LIQUID DISPENSING DEVICE
A liquid dispensing device includes a needle. The needle is adapted to penetrate a container without tearing out a portion of the container. The portion of the container is near a point of penetration on the container. The liquid dispensing device includes a motion control system. The motion control system is configured to rotate the needle while the needle penetrates the container.
AERATOR DEVICE FOR, AND METHOD OF, AERATING A DRINKABLE LIQUID
A device aerates a drinkable liquid inside a handheld container. An aerator is detachably mounted on the container in a mounted position. The aerator has an aerator portion that extends into the liquid and that is held adjacent an interior surface of a side wall of the container in the mounted position. The aerator portion has a multitude of turbulence-inducing agitating elements, such as pores, through which the liquid in the container flows to, and impacts against, the interior surface of the side wall of the container, and mixes with ambient air in the container, when the container is manually swirled to aerate the liquid.
Wine decanter pedestal with controllably variable swirl motion
A wine decanter pedestal system includes a base supported above a surface, the base having a base center axis and a ledge extending outward from its top surface to support a bottom surface of a decanter placed on the top surface. A wireless receiver receives wireless commands from a wireless device to control a rotary motor operably coupled to the base at an attachment point off-center from the base center axis such that rotation of the rotary motor causes the base center axis to orbit about the rotary drive in a circular orbital motion and in a circular spin motion. A weight sensor measures a weight of a decanter placed upon the base, and a controller automatically adjusts the torque of the rotary drive in response to the weight measured by the weight sensor to increase torque for heavier weights measured and decrease torque for lighter weights measured.
Aeration device
An aeration device includes a housing; a pump module mounted inside the housing and configured to provide a fluid flow; a tube connector mounted inside the housing and fluidly connected to the pump module; an aerator tube configured to be attachable to the tube connector; and a gripping recess mounted inside the housing such that the aerator tube is receivable within the gripping recess. The aerator tube is configured to receive the fluid flow from the pump module and deliver the fluid flow to a liquid in a vessel. The aerator device is configured to rest on a top rim of a vessel during operation of the pump module.
LIQUID AERATING DEVICE
A liquid aerating device is presented. The device includes a first inner channel through which air flows in a first direction, a second inner channel extending substantially parallel to the first inner channel, wherein liquid flows through the second inner channel in a second direction that is opposite of the first direction, and an aeration chamber. The aeration chamber is connected to the first inner channel and the second inner channel, and positioned such that the air flows into the first inner channel from the aeration chamber and the liquid flows out of the second inner channel into the aeration chamber.
EXPANSION CHAMBER FOR A WINE BOTTLE AERATOR
A hollow expansion chamber of the present invention is configured to temporarily contain an expansion of bubbles during an aeration process for aerating a liquid, where a chamber body of the expansion chamber has an oblate spheroid shape. When moving circumferentially downward along the chamber body starting from a maximum inside diameter, the oblate spheroidal shape of a bottom portion has a first integral transition that is a tangential transition to a first frustoconical shape. Continuing moving circumferentially downward, the first frustoconical shape has a second integral transition to a cylindrical extension. The cylindrical extension at a distal end has a bottom opening configured to fit within an opened bottleneck. The first frustoconical shape has a minimum angle of 15 degrees relative to a horizontal plane. The second integral transition is a radial second integral transition having an inside surface radius of at least 0.25 inches.
PORTABLE MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SMART DECANTER
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of beverage mixers, in particular to a portable smart decanter, including a tray, a ball cover, balls, a rotary disc, a cam, a bearing, a motor, a motor cover, a diffusion ring, a USB charging port, a display, a key, a smart control drive, an upper cover, a lower cover, foot pads and a battery cover. The bottom center buckle of the lower cover is used to fix the battery cover. Through structure and function combination of various modules, when an object is placed on the tray of the on-off switch module, the force-bearing spring on the on-off switch module will touch the switch and make the internal circuit connected, and then the motor on the eccentric cam module begins to rotate and drive the ball sliding structure to slide.
ASSEMBLY FOR SELECTIVELY AERATING AND CHANGING THE TEMPERATURE OF A BEVERAGE
An assembly for selectively aerating and heating or cooling a beverage. The assembly includes a body that receives the beverage, a heat transfer element having a control temperature, a diverter in communication with and coupled to the body, and an aerator in communication with the diverter, the aerator including a plurality of flow features and an outlet. The heat transfer element carried by the body, such that the heat transfer element is arranged to change a temperature of the beverage in the body using the control temperature. When the diverter is in a first position, the flow features are accessible and the beverage flows through the body portion, along the plurality of flow features, and through the outlet. When the diverter member is in a second position, the flow features are not accessible and the beverage flows through the body portion and through the outlet while bypassing the flow features.
PORTABLE AERATOR
A portable aerator comprising: a main aeration body; a base portion; an internal cavity; at least one ventilation shaft; a spout portion; an aeration opening; and an aeration inlet. The internal cavity comprises a threaded channel and cavity extends from a base portion opening to a spout portion opening. The internal cavity is configured to pass a liquid, such as wine that enters the internal cavity body at the base opening out through the spout portion opening. The threaded channel is threaded on an interior surface, such that the threaded channel is configured to matingly engage and disengage with a worm of a corkscrew bottle opening device, such as a waiter's wine key, via twisting and untwisting, respectively. The aerator device may have at least one ventilation shaft, an aeration shaft, and/or an extension tube.
