WINE DECANTER PEDESTAL WITH CONTROLLABLY VARIABLE SWIRL MOTION
20200238239 · 2020-07-30 ·

A wine decanter pedestal system includes a base supported above a surface, the base having a base center axis and a ledge extending outward from its top surface to support a bottom surface of a decanter placed on the top surface. A wireless receiver receives wireless commands from a wireless device to control a rotary motor operably coupled to the base at an attachment point off-center from the base center axis such that rotation of the rotary motor causes the base center axis to orbit about the rotary drive in a circular orbital motion and in a circular spin motion. A weight sensor measures a weight of a decanter placed upon the base, and a controller automatically adjusts the torque of the rotary drive in response to the weight measured by the weight sensor to increase torque for heavier weights measured and decrease torque for lighter weights measured.

WINE-DECANTING CUP STRUCTURE
20200229623 · 2020-07-23 ·

A wine-decanting cup structure includes a bottom wall, an annular wall, and a plurality of protruding ribs. The bottom wall, the annular wall, and the protruding ribs are made of polyethylene terephthalate. A bottom end of the annular wall is connected to the bottom wall to enclose a containing room for receiving wine. An outer diameter of the annular wall gradually increases and then gradually decreases from the bottom end of the annular wall to a top end of the annular wall. The protruding ribs are integrally formed on an inner periphery of the annular wall and spaced apart from each other. Each of the protruding ribs extends in a longitudinal direction and is bent toward a same direction.

An apparatus can include a generally planar portion approximately in a plane. The apparatus can also include a lip portion extending in a direction generally orthogonal to the plane. The generally planar portion is joined to the lip portion at a circumferential edge of the generally planar portion to form a cover for a beverage container. Likewise, a method can include providing contact information on a disposable cover adapted to cover a beverage container. The contact information is not necessarily provided by the manufacturer of the beverage or beverage container. The method can also include receiving contact from a user of the disposable cover. The method can further include coordinating the delivery of a service to the user of the disposable cover responsive to the contact received from the user.

Pressurized decanting device

A pressurized decanting device decants wine, so that oxidation is prevented by not agitating the wine as it decants, or agitating solid matter resting on the bottom of bottle. The decanting device couples to the mouth of bottle through a cork having a cork borehole. A pump forces pressurized gas into the bottle of wine. The consequential pressure forces the wine out of the bottle through a discharge pipe in the housing. The device includes a base mounted with a housing. The housing includes an outlet apparatus, a pump, a power supply mechanism, and a switch mechanism operatively connected to the pump and the power supply mechanism. An outlet pipe and a gas guiding apparatus extend from the outlet apparatus. The switch mechanism mounts on the outlet apparatus through power supply mechanism. The outlet apparatus controls a liquid and a gas to discharge or stop discharging from outlet pipe.

LIQUID AERATION
20200206698 · 2020-07-02 ·

An aerator for aerating a liquid as the liquid is being poured from a container includes an aerator body configured to be at least partially inserted into the container. The body includes an inlet, an outlet, and a flow control chamber disposed between the inlet and the outlet. A flow control element is movably disposed in the flow control chamber between a first position where the flow control element is spaced away from a stop and a second position where the flow control element engages the stop. The flow control chamber communicates with the outlet when the flow control element is in the second position allowing liquid to be poured from the container and allowing air to be introduced into the flow control chamber for mixing with the liquid being poured from the container to aerate the liquid being poured from the container.

LIGHT EMITTING FLUID DECANTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF LIGHT-TREATING A FLUID
20200157482 · 2020-05-21 ·

The present invention discloses a device for light-treating a fluid having base having an internal hollow portion for housing electronic components, a transparent medium on a top of portion of the base on which a fluid vessel rests, a light emitting element (LEE) for producing light located in the base and positioned toward the top portion of the based where the fluid vessel rests, a processor in communication with the LEE, a user interface for inputting characteristics about the fluid to be treated, wherein the processor, based on the input, controls at least one of the intensity or duration of the light produced by LEE. A system and method for treating a fluid is also disclosed.

Wine bottle aerator

An aeration assembly for aerating liquids including wine and other alcoholic beverages includes an expansion chamber and an aerating device. The expansion chamber is configured to be in fluid communication with an inside of the uncorked and/or opened bottle when engaged by a bottom portion of the expansion chamber. The aerating device comprises a gas conduit having a proximal end in fluid communication with a distal end. The distal end is disposable below the bottom portion of the expansion chamber. A gas source is in fluid communication with the proximal end of the gas conduit. The expansion chamber is configured to temporarily contain an expansion of bubbles during an aeration process. The expansion chamber and aerating device are not permanently connected, wherein the aerating device can be fully removed from the expansion chamber before, during or after the aeration process.

Portable aerator

A portable aerator comprising: a main aeration body; a base portion; an internal cavity; at least one ventilation shaft; a spout portion; an aeration opening; and an aeration inlet. The internal cavity comprises a threaded channel and cavity extends from a base portion opening to a spout portion opening. The internal cavity is configured to pass a liquid, such as wine that enters the internal cavity body at the base opening out through the spout portion opening. The threaded channel is threaded on an interior surface, such that the threaded channel is configured to matingly engage and disengage with a worm of a corkscrew bottle opening device, such as a waiter's wine key, via twisting and untwisting, respectively. The aerator device may have at least one ventilation shaft, an aeration shaft, and/or an extension tube.

One embodiment provides a wine aerating device, including: a funnel-shaped container comprising a bottom that is provided with an outlet aperture having a predetermined size, wherein said funnel-shaped container is at least partially filled with a multitude of substantially spherical elements for breaking up and diverting a flow of wine streaming from the top to the bottom of said funnel-shaped container, each of said substantially spherical elements having a size significantly smaller than the size of said outlet aperture, and wherein a non-spherical element having a size greater than the size of said outlet aperture is placed upon said outlet aperture to partially block it, thereby preventing said spherical or nearly-spherical elements to pass through said outlet aperture while allowing the passage of wine through said outlet aperture and increasing the wine's turbulent motion and oxigenation while coming out of said funnel-shaped container. Other aspects are described and claimed.
